For those who check their "edits" often, thank you!
Numbers is not my thing - just enjoying what I am doing!!

If you request an edit to add death location . . . be certain that the location is accurate. A hometown or last place of residence is not always the place of death. Example: a last residence of Gadsden, Etowah Co., AL on Social Security death records could be that the person died in a Birmingham, Jefferson County hospital.

This is not a critical comment...but please be certain your memorial is listed under the "accurate" cemetery name to avoid any of us taking up time looking for a tombstone/grave that is actually in another cemetery. Alabama's weather can be hot/humid or bitter cold, so do us a favor!

The only time I add an "overview" photo to someone else memorial is to show location which is a great help in finding a marker in a large area and/or to add data on the photo caption. Please note that photos are not always good due to the time of day of photo and some are old markers in poor condition which need cleaning, etc., but they are worth a view to someone searching for an ancestor. Some are poor quality photos posted, but it would take a long time to redo them all.

"Everyone deserves to be remembered"

I have compiled several cemetery books and a number of family histories. The love of genealogy never ends! If you need information regarding Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, contact Nancy serving on board of directors.
