I was born at home at 16:30 pm
To: James Fred McFarland and Gladys Ellingsworth
In Mount Pleasant,Utah, we later moved to Salt Lake City,Utah were in 1948 my father passed away from heart failure caused by a heart murmur he was left with after a bout with Rheumatic Fever at the age of 19.
My mother alone with five children, remarried a little over a year later and
And at that time made the decision that us McFarland Children should be raised using the surname of our now Step Father

Over the years we became distant with my McFarland Grandparents due To a feud that ensued between them and my stepfather, until at age 15
I decided on my own to reconnect with them and get to know them better.
So through the help of the internet I am trying to reclaimed my McFarland Heritage.
