I'm an avid genealogist. I'm very willing to share for mutual discoveries. I am more than willing to hand over memorials if you are family.|
I'm searching many family lines with DNA. Our priority is looking for any males willing to test yDNA. Hoping to break walls into 1700's Virginia and Maryland for Lewis, and Lee. Adjacent surnames Burgess, French, Hickman, Hopkins, Power, Rollins, Powell, Lowe, Petty, Collins, Violett. If your family is in one of my virtual cemeteries, likely I can explain our commonality.
Will assist fellow genealogists with legwork in greater Chicagoland, as ability allows.

|R. Watson||RE: Lewis|
Willie Mae Watson Lewis is my sister. Edwin Eugene Lewis is my brother-in-law. His father, Thomas Webb Lewis was born in Gaston County, North Carolina, passed away in Wilmington N.C. His mother was Mary Cathrine Bass Lewis born in Southern Pine, North Carolina. passed away in Wilmington N.C. Gene had brothers Jackie, Jimmy, and Carlisle. Sister's Deanna and one other (Mary?). I don't remember her name. I know very little about the Lewis family. I was a small child when these were alive. Even at that they lived in Wilmington very far away. Don't know if this was any help to you.

|Ron Roberson||Austin graves|
Hi just wanted you to know that I went to Glenwood this morning and photographed the Austin graves you asked for. The one for Marion was fine, but the other for Howard and Sarah was almost completely covered in brush. I was able to clear away enough of it to be able to read the inscription but it's from a funny angle. Just wanted you to know that this is why the photo isn't as clear as it might be.
|Julie Knox/Graves-Birkhimer||RE: Lees|
Kinda related! I started this for a friend who is related, and discovered that Bobbie Lee Birkhimer's grandmother was a Martindill. I'm related to them. Bobbie Lee was my husband's sister-in-law. :D
|Tammy Hall Shropshire||RE: thanks|
I'm so glad you found it. I had been searching for Jehu/Jahew Hall for years, but had to prove my line.
He is my 4x great grandfather so if you are related to him, then we are too!
I'd love to talk with you about your connection to him and find out how we're related!!
Most all of my known Hall family has passed away, other than my Aunt and her adult children, so I'd be thrilled to know how you relate in the Hall lineage.
My email is email@example.com and I'd enjoy hearing from you.
Thank you for the link to her husband Isaac Hopkins. You're right - she was his 2nd husband. We didn't have dates or burial location though. Hopkins is my husbands mother's maiden name and we've been researching this line trying to tie up loose ends. Every bit helps.

I linked Wilhelmine Schroeder's other 2 husbands. She was my great-great-grandmother. I assume we're related since she was your 1st cousin 3 x's removed.

Hi Sue, I thought you may like to look at this site to check and see if you have additional family members at Green Hill. That was how I created the memorial I made. If you would like that memorial transferred just click the edit tab on the memorial and I will be happy to transfer it to you. http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/index.aspx?page=1117

Here is the link to the Missouri Death Certificates. I've got the website open to the BRUNNER'S but once you get in you can navigate to where you want.
And its free.
