I'm a 60 year old history buff. I am married with two sons. The bulk of my personal roots are in Cumberland County, Bledsoe County, & Hamilton County, TN. Extensive links to Davenports, Swaffords, Browns, Wilsons, & Tollets between Cumberland & Bledsoe. Lewis, Carden, & Penney in Hamilton County. I have been able to locate & link several generations back thanks to findagrave.|

I've sent you a message to your aol address. Just in case that doesn't work, I'm adding this message. I am Mary Jo Cole Burnette, widow of Eugene Burnette. I would like you to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 919-782-4996 to talk about the Burnettes, Swaffords, Davenports, etc. I have located, thanks to you, Nancy Burnett's grave, but am having trouble with her husband Andrew's grave. I sent you a picture of the Swaffords, which included Aunt Mit's picture and Nancy's, with their parents.
Gene and I had two sons, both of whom are still living, and I'd like to round out the family history on Gene's side. We have no communication with Sammye Burnette Brown and thus cannot get any information from her. I believe that Gene had a step-son, Scott Burnette, but I have no address for him.
I'd appreciate also knowing how to reach Harold Davenport, if he is still living. I only saw him twice, once at his mother's funeral and once at Gene's funeral.
Thanks very much for posting information on the Find a Grave sites -- I was looking for Burnette, rather than Burnett.
My best to you and your family,
Mary Jo Cole Burnette

Tom could you refresh my mind on what you were asking, thank you.

Thanks for your input on the Penney boys. I have an inquiry on Thomas and his vital data. I noted George as Andrew's brother on his memorial. Sorry that you have to confess Yankees in the family, but even I have one Buffalo soldier and that is much more shameful(from the standpoint of what they did under orders, not as people).

Found the memorial and have complete the link.

The memorial for Francis is saying not available, or has been deleted. I would be happy to link if you will send the correct memorial number.
