I forgot to ask: which chapter are you member of and if I may ask, your surname?
I can add that in my references.
My email is if you prefer.
Very respectfully,

James Morris info sources
Thank you for sharing; I had same sources but wasn't positive. Since he was the only James in that county that fit known info, then it stands to reason that he who is listed is him.
Thank you, too, for clarifying his parents' names.

James Morris info
Cindy: Thank you for submitting his family info--
as I am a stickler for correct info, would you be so kind as to provide me your source(s)?
As I'm writing a book on those CSA burials in the Spotsylvania Courthouse Confederate Cemetery, I need to have exact info. Then, I'd be able to list you as source/contributor.
I don't doubt you understand--

Theresa Derrick
Do you know if her mother was Bridget Light who married James DeVinnie (or DeVinney), daughter of Jacob Light. Bridget was my 4th great grand aunt. Regards, Bill Piety

Thomas Brown
Good afternoon,

I saw on you memorial for Thomas Brown, you reference a will. Do you have a copy of that will or can you point me to a source where I can obtain a copy? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anna Lamme Laird # 101833531
Thank you so very much for the information you provided for Anna (Lamme) Laird - particularly the proof of her parentage.

I am descended from Robert & Jane (Laird) Cochran through their daughter Martha who married Aaron Yantis in Shelby County, Kentucky. Although I have considerable information on Robert Cochran, I was NOT aware his mother-in-law had lived with him at the time os her death. Again, thank you for adding this fact.

Jacob Marion Lindley
Hi Cindy,

I, too, am a 4X great granddaughter of Jacob Marion Lindley, descending off of his daughter, Mary Ruth Lindley. How are you related?

OK Cindy,
Old fotos removed, new ones added.
I also filled in some of the blanks.
Hope this will further your genealogical trails.

Evening Cindy,
I has been eating away at me that I provided fotos originally that were of -no- genealogical value since there was no inscription.
So, today my wife and I went back out there and I'm glad to say "mission accomplished". I gave her the foto of the leaning stone next to the tree and she walked directly to it. The ground had given away and it was almost totally flat on the ground.
We dug around it as best we could to try and upright it straight but no luck, it was in the ground to far and that pesky poison ivy was back, but less brutal this time around. At least I was able to pull it up far enough that she could take a foto of the inscription, clear and clean.
I took (3) fotos, one showing the background so the marker can be easily located in the future, one of the stone as it is (still leaning) and a close-up of the inscription so the information will be visible & viable.
Now, the readson I am sending U all this: I am in the country on 14k dial-up which makes fotos really slow to deal with. I also live on a working ranch in Texas and with Friday and the weekend coming on, coupled with bad weather on its way, I have obligations here, they will have to come first.
Just wanted U to be aware that its in the works and will be taken care of shortly, replacing the current fotos.
No reply needed, just FYI. !!
Later, James Coston
