I have been doing genealogy for almost 20 years with with family in New England (especially southern Vermont), Pennsylvania and Virginia.

I am a photo volunteer, focusing on Southern Connecticut and I am affiliated with the Norwich Connecticut Historical Society.

In addition to working on recording my own family, I am currently working on transcribing the Rixtown Cemetery in Griswold.

Thank you so much for photographing this very worn tombstone. Is her first husband's grave in the same cemetery? (William Bromley)I really appreciate the two of you photographing this cemetery. I'll look forward to seeing if I have other ancestors there.

Thank you so much for your efforts in finding a headstone for Thomas Rix! I will let the person who manages the memorial know that he doesn't have one to photo. Thanks again! Lani

Rixtown
Hi! I ,too, am a photo volunteer. I was at the Rixtown Cemetery today and also put Luke Brumbley's photo on the site before realizing that there was one ( yours) already there. I see you are in the process of transcribing this cemetery. I had intended to photograph all graves which had not yet been put on F-A-G ....do you want to cooperate on this or would you prefer to take it on on your own? What ever you'd prefer, as long as we are not duplicating our efforts!I'm available most afternoons if you want to do this together. Regards, Diane

Thank you
Just wanted to say thank you for adding the picture of Luke Bromley. I know there is another memorial for Luke under (Luke Brumbly). I will address that issue. Thanks again. Robert

Thanks so much for photographing the markers of my ancestors, Wm and Abigail Bentley! Knowing just how much VT has suffered from the recent hurricane, I was very surprised, though extremely grateful and appreciative, to see them posted.
