Hello Folks, I am a native, born and raised in Au Sable Forks, New York. I married the love of my life 50 years ago, in 1967 and Geoff remains My Guy. Our hearts beat as one! He is also a Forks Native.
Our two children are grown, married with children of their own.
We have 5 amazing Grandchildren.
I have been a genealogist for 30 plus years. I shared the position as Town Historian for two Townships, Jay Township in Essex Co. as well as Black Brook Township in Clinton Co., both Town Govt. Offices are located in Au Sable Forks. Our Townships and Counties are divided by the Au Sable River. Makes for researching ancestors in our area a living nightmare, and having our Townships and two Hamlets with identical names doesn't help either!
I remain the Township of Jay's Historian and Curator of the Au Sable Forks Heritage Museum which I created within a few month of being Historian. When one enjoys what they do as much as I do, well then it is not consider work at all! I am blessed with what I do.
