My husband, Kevin, and I have been pursuing genealogy since 2010. What fun! It has changed our lives and lead us down many paths. Our families, in the 19th century, mostly came from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania. Find A Grave has been a great tool. Who knew people spend so much time in cemeteries?|

Ruthie is my 3 great grandmother. Can you please transfer her memorial to me (47647100) or at least accept the correction to connect her with her parents. Archibald Find A Grave# 7264143 and Ruth Find A Grave# 44176747. Thanks for adding her memorial.

Overlooked death date. So this can't be my ancestor. Sorry for inconvenience.

Hi Gail, I'm searching for my 3x great-grandfather who was born in TN around 1815. Saw this listing thru ancestry.com and wondered if this might be him. He married Frances Franklin in Blount County, AL in 1842 and fathered David, Martha, Elizabeth and Andrew (Frank). I haven't been able to find Wm. and Frances in AL or GA after the 1860 census. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your message. I went through Maplewood Cemetery records. In the confederate soldiers section of the cemetery is a S.H. Walker died May 1862. He was with company 9LA E. The information I just shared with you is letting you know that this maybe Samuel. But can not confirmed his burial. Good luck Virginia.
