|T. McLean||Sarah Noel Stanfield - Mem #84253130|
I received 2 messages, 1 that accepted one of my edit suggestions, and one that was declined.
Sarah is the 2nd wife of my 3rd great grandfather, and a lot of research has been done on her family. I am interested in making my records as accurate as possible, so would like to discuss those items that are in conflict with the information you have.
Thank you for the transfer!
|Ken Robinson||Your request's for Grave Stone Pic's in Downs Cemetery|
My wife and I didn't find grave stones for Opal Miller, George & Rachel Bailey, Clara Greenman, or a stone for Wilson Moore, near Lorena's stone. I think there's a pretty good chance there is a stone for Roger Angell, north of his parents stone. Frank & Alice Bates, may be listed in the Osborne County Burial Book, but they are not listed on the book at the cemetery. My next trip to this cemetery, I'm going to get acquainted with the sexton and see if he can assist me in following the cemetery map. By the way the Esther Watts, situation is still up in the air. I searched the funeral homes in the area as well as the memorial works and come up with nothing. Next trip, I'll check with some of Watt's in Downs and see if they can shed some light. Until later. Ken
Again thank you so much for all of you dedication, and hard work in helping us find our families. Your pictures are lovely, and you consideration in transferring my family to me has so warmed my heart. Thank you again, for your kindness.

I want to thank You very much for adding John Hackard. He is possibly the brother of my great great great grandmother Sarah.
We thought that he had died in Osbourne Co. Ks,
but no one had dates.
Family had gone to Kansas from Iowa and then back to Iowa after John died.
further research is needed to confirm.
Thanks for the transfer. I wasn't expecting it.
Just wondering, is Charles wife buried with him?
(Maude M. Woodside-Dillon, March 1874-Unk) Maybe she isn't? I haven't been able to find her.
