|Suzanne A||S. A. Dillman # 125667658|
I'm researching Civil War soldiers whose names appear on a quilt made in the 1880's. S.A. Dillman is one of those names. Caroline Boston made the quilt. Her descendants and I would love to in touch with any of Samuel Dillman's descendants to exchange notes and whatever information they wish to share. I would appreciate it if you would pass this message along to those who supplied the biographical information on your memorial, if you yourself are not a descendant. Thank you for your consideration and for putting up this very helpful memorial.

Like you I have searched for answers--to no avail. I am torn between saying that this little baby and a sister were either born in Macon County--or Adair County. Seem all census I find they lived in Macon County--probably on the border of the county line. I sure wish I had an answer--sorry! Pam

Only thing I can think of is to check the pre-1910 death certificate records. They are not complete but since the death was before 1910 that is the only place I can think of unless you just happen to come across an obit for the parents or a sibling that mentions the infant. Wish I could be of more help on this one. Have a nice day.
Thank you for the transfer of Clarence Anderson.

Cindy at the La Plata Public Library retired on July 5th of this year. I don't know who the librarian is now. I think it was mentioned in the La Plata newspaper but I don't remember who it was.
Anyway with the date you supplied I looked through the obits I saved out of the home press for the 1990's and found Corrine's obit. in them so I have added it to her memorial. No mention of exactly where she is buried as she was cremated!
I have also linked Corrine to her parents memorials. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.I am going there the end of next month.I've been before but did not find him buried in Westerville cemetery,since I wasn't looking for him at that time.The historical society in Broken Bow has his obituary,hopefully that will end the mystery.
I was thrilled to find Albert and Ida,she was the last daughter I was looking for to complete the Moody family.
Thanks for your assistance !

Another piece of the puzzle solved. Sadie Francis was the wife of Robert Marvin Rooney (2573764). I'd been looking for his wife. Robert Marvin was William F.'s brother (140064748). Their parents are John Patrick "Jack" Rooney (110856421) and Sadie G. Garrett Rooney (110856195). I'll connect the Robert Marvin and Sadie Francis Find A Grave, you don't need to transfer Sadie Francis to me.
Sadie Francis died in Salina, Kansas. There's not much out there on Sadie F. & Robert Marvin. I'm still trying to figure out Sadie F.'s maiden name and her exact dates of birth & death.

I really wasn't expecting transfers. Some people on this site act like you are asking them to hand over the crown jewels if you ask for a transfer, so I was quite surprised. Thank you!
