Thank you for the transfers of the two VanGundy memorials. I appreciate it. They are my kin and I will take care of them. Bill.

RE: Corrine Van Vacter-Follow up
I am so glad I found her obit., too. Now if someone can photograph her stone in Mt. Tabor that will help, too. Hope that will confirm her burial location unless she is one of a few people whos name appears on a stone but they are buried elsewhere. I have a few like that and it is so frustrating to know what to do or what cemetery to put them in!

Sure wish the funeral home had been able to tell you where Corrine was buried. Yes, I learned that the funeral home doesn't even have to bury the cremains when my mom passed (she was cremated, too). They can give the cremains to family and they can do with them as they wish!

More later if I find anything else that might help you. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Unnamed Infant Collins-107382245
Like you I have searched for answers--to no avail. I am torn between saying that this little baby and a sister were either born in Macon County--or Adair County. Seem all census I find they lived in Macon County--probably on the border of the county line. I sure wish I had an answer--sorry! Pam

RE: Unnamed Infant Collins
Only thing I can think of is to check the pre-1910 death certificate records. They are not complete but since the death was before 1910 that is the only place I can think of unless you just happen to come across an obit for the parents or a sibling that mentions the infant. Wish I could be of more help on this one. Have a nice day.

RE: Corrine Van Vacter
Cindy at the La Plata Public Library retired on July 5th of this year. I don't know who the librarian is now. I think it was mentioned in the La Plata newspaper but I don't remember who it was.

Anyway with the date you supplied I looked through the obits I saved out of the home press for the 1990's and found Corrine's obit. in them so I have added it to her memorial. No mention of exactly where she is buried as she was cremated!

I have also linked Corrine to her parents memorials. Hope this helps.

RE: Albert Adelbert Lanphear 145109698
Thanks for the reply.I am going there the end of next month.I've been before but did not find him buried in Westerville cemetery, since I wasn't looking for him at that time. The historical society in Broken Bow has his obituary, hopefully that will end the mystery.
I was thrilled to find Albert and Ida,she was the last daughter I was looking for to complete the Moody family.
Thanks for your assistance !
