Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Robert McClure, Husband of Voleta Cooper McClure. We live in Shawnee Oklahoma, and are happy to obtain any photos needed in the area.
I have developed a couple of family trees on Ancestry.com for the McClure-Sutliff-Cooper-Bray familys. It includes Holdens, Ralstons, Johnstones, Littles, Elam's,(5,000 names) and another tree: Harriet Hannah Hall which includes the Halls, Wheelers, Lemmons, and Carrs,(1,500 names).
Just discovered "Findagrave" August of 2011 and am excited about the information and photos found there. I want to do my part to add all the history and photos that I come across to this great resource.

William Henry Whittlsesey, Sr.
He's buried in Bushnell Cemetery, Bushnell, IL. His death date *might* be Feb. 10, 1929, not April 10, 1929. (The application for his GAR gravestone would have been submitted after his death.) I can't see the image of the original, but familysearch.org has a record related to his death from the Illinois Deaths and Burials index: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NQR2-R12

Hi Robert. Per your suggestion, I've linked Charles McCluer to his father. Thank you!

Hi Robert - Per your request, I've linked Cyrus to his parents. Any chance they are in your direct lineage? If so, I'll transfer to you. Thanks for all you do for F-A-G!!

Mabel Cain
A few months ago I purchased a box of family letters, photos, and miscellaneous papers at a flea market of the Hatton family, who lived in Wellington, KS throughout the 1900's. Virginia, wife of Frank Hatton and mother of 5 (all buried at the same cemetery as Mabel) left behind a 5 year diary (1945-50) and while reading through it I found where she mentions the death of Mrs. James (Mabel) Cain and her passing and burial. Mabel died on January 3, 1945, at 2:20 p.m., a Wednesday, and was buried on the Monday the 8th at 4 p.m. Interesting that her husband died the same year, which Virginia probably mentions. If she does, I'd be happy to send his date as well.

Thanks for maintaining her memorial. If I find out anything else about Mabel or James, I'll pass it on.
