|I will be happy to transfer a memorial to you for your family members if it falls within the Find a Grave Rules, "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren"|
Often I created a memorial because I had a photo for the person that I hoped would make it back to family members that wanted it, or memorials were transferred to me because no one wanted to update them or link them properly. Every memorial I manage is a relative, but if you are a direct relative you are welcome to manage your family's memorials, just ask. If you would rather just have me update the memorial or add a bio for you I will be happy to do that as well. I gladly accept corrections as well.
I try to give credit where it is due, and I have gotten better at this but if I didn't please don't take offense. Please remind me and I will add your name under captions giving you credit. If we work together we can accomplish more. If I have offended you please accept my sincerest apology.
You may share the pictures I have posted. Please reference their memorial here so others can find the information on the memorial and include the label if the photo had one- each person the the photo deserves to be remembered by name! Nothing bothers me more to see the picture posted elsewhere with out the names of the individuals in it when they were known.
I have more to share than can be posted here. Happy to share if you let me know you are interested.

|Kaitlyn Larsen||Icabod Bowerman Gifford versus Ichabod Gifford|
My name is Kaitlyn Larsen, I am a lds church-employed researcher working specifically on the family of Levi Gifford and Deborah Wing. I was hoping we could collaborate some information at the moment --
I am curious as to where you got your information for Icabod Gifford and am concerned that there is a chance you have mixed up Icabod Bowerman Gifford and Ichabod Gifford, or that I have mixed something up. Both were LDS, both resided in Nauvoo around the same time. Ichabod Gifford is one of 11 kids of Levi Gifford and Deborah Wing, both of Massachussetts. I have sourced this also to the 1842 Nauvoo census, in which he is listed as their child in their household - and he is also listed with Levi and Deborah Wing in the PAF files. Ichabod Gifford was born 14 April 1822 in Sullivan, Tioga, Penn and died 2 August 1876. I am under the impression that he also stayed back and did not cross the plains into Utah, but took up residence in Illinois. I have census records which list Hannah Howe with Ichabod Gifford, (see https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GYYY-JQ6?mode=g&i=5&wc=QZ27-MXS%3A1589399935%2C1589400593%2C1589400324%2C1589394931%3Fcc%3D1417683&cc=1417683) - however you are listing her with Icabod Bowerman Gifford. In my records, they were married 14 May 1843 in Lee, Iowa. I also believe your 1880 census listing to actually be that of Ichabod Gifford.
It is entirely possible that these two people were incorrectly merged a long time ago, or incorrectly split into two separate individuals listed in the wrong families, etc. Please collaborate with me on this, I am curious to what your impression might be. Feel free to respond here or to
-Kaitlyn Larsen :)
