I have been researching my family tree since '92

What really made me go 25 plus hours a week is seeing my Great Grandfather's obit by a simple Google archive search on the Kleitz name in the Pgh Post Gazette

I have over 10,000 names in my family tree now, and decided it was time to start posting all the cemetery photos of head stones I have of my relations

neat find: learning the Kleitz name I was researching was French not German

By far my coolest find was on EBay, by chance I got a message a guy had a Kleitz letter from 1841, that I would want to bid on

$12.00 won me a Transatlantic stamp from Dettwillier, France, and a letter written in gothic german, from Joseph and Micheal Bery, to Jacques Kleitz

Bery was the maiden name of Jacques Kleitz's wife Theresa, so it was her brothers asking how everything was going in the USA.

I have the original letter!! Framed and hung in my den, over 170 years old.

Bad part of research is I can't find any pictures predating 1915...family has non, any suggestions??

I will take cemetery stone pics in a 50 mile area just email the name, section, plot and location of cemetery

Letting no stone left turned over
