Bio

My mother sparked my interest in genealogy when I was a child by writing a letter to her aunt Leona, in an attempt to preserve little known family information on her father's side. I still use details in that letter from time to time trying to further my research. I also inherited handwritten family tree information from my maternal grandmother. I enjoy adding cemetery memorials and photos when I am able. When visiting Pontotoc Cemetery in Johnston County, OK I usually try to photograph new gravestones and create memorials for them. If I have established a memorial for someone in your direct family, I will be more than happy to transfer management to you if requested. Feel free to use any headstone photos I have uploaded without feeling the need to ask first. I hope in some small way my participation on this website will benefit future researchers!
