RE: Smith Benefield
Was Smith married to Rachel Northam from N.C.?>
Yes he was. I have yet to locate Rachel Northam's grave. She may be buried near the Folger Family in Kansas.

RE: Hattie Zacharis
There is no way to make corrections from one cemetery/memorial to another, but both will accept corrections made to that cemetery individual with the proper proof (marker, cemetery record, copy of death cert. etc. BTW, Lorain, OH has no E.I only have St. Peter's cemetery record from an out of print listing of headstones. You would have to contact the holder of the other memorial to have any changes made there.
Hope that helps somewhat.

Hattie Zacharis
It said Hattie died in 1991 not 1891. I added these records from a long out-of-print book on the cemetery. If you are related in any way, I will be happy to transfer these memorials or if you provide photos of their readable markers, I will be happy to make any changes as indicated.

RE: Helen hampe
You are more than welcome! I also added photos for Martha Batman Hempe. Is Martha Helen's mother?

Family Means Everything
RE: Edward shripka
You are so welcome! I, too, am working on my family tree...some areas are very difficult and the language barriers too. The cemetery mentioned to me that his name is spelled Shipka in their records and on his headstone so once again, someone changed the spelling. My maiden name was Fern. I found no less than 7 different spellings of it and it's only 4 letters! Over the years, countries boundaries change, states change, counties change, depending what year it is. I's crazy! You really have to play detective when tracing the family back! I enjoy it though and enjoy helping others with theirs! Good luck to you...happy hunting! :)

You are so welcome! I had never been to that cemetery before. It's small but nice. Glad I could help!

Martha E. Boyer
I saw your message on findagrave concerning Martha E. Batman Boyer. In 1930 she is living in Franklin Twp, Putnam Co Indiana with her Sister Lucinda and Mary C. Payne also a sister, along with Esther, Martha's daughter. She most likely is buried at Rochdale, but perhaps she just doesn't have a headstone. There is a death record for her in Putnam Co., Indiana, she died at the age of 62 10 Jan 1933 in Roachdale. The next step I would do, is contact the Putnam Co. Indiana Health Department for her death record. Hopefully it will state where she is buried. The record book is P. 33..Her middle name was Elizabeth. Good luck.
