I have been working on my family history for over 50 years and will help anyone in any way I can. Working on family names of Griffith, Milbradt, Brooks, Williamson, Jack, Archibald, Mitchell, Lamkin, and numerous other.|
You are welcome to use any of my photos in your family histories or posting to Ancestry. My whole reason for doing this is to help others in searching their families.
P.S. My life is kind of hectic right now so it may take me a while to answer any requests or emails. I will try to get to them as soon as I can. Thanks
Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer.
I am always happy to make corrections and add links when asked.

|kelly greer||RE: Dexter M. Ives|
Dexter M. Ives was the husband of Minnie Baker (1873-1962). Minnie was the younger sister of one of my great grandfathers. That being Ernest Baker (1872-1971). That is my connection to Dexter Ives.

I have transferred him to you. I discovered this evening that I am only related to Paul through a remote connection. His daughter married a Slingsby, their child married a Rundle. I am related to the Rundles by marriage to my Thornton's who married my Bushell's(my maiden.) So thanks to You for your work on find a grave cuz!

|Richard Weide||Fred L. Light - Askren cemetery|
Hi, and tnx so much for your great work. You have Fred Light's birthdate as "unknown". He was born 29 Mar 1887 (death certificate). Also, his gravestone as pictured shows 1887. I got interested in Light family genealogy because his father, John Light, was brought to Woodson county by wagon from Illinois as a young man by my great-great-Grandfather Gottfried Weide. You might add Freds parents, John and Elizabeth (Klingenberg) Light, who are also buried in Askren, and you should have their data. note: early Census records show him as Fred "W" Light, only the later Census records show him as Fred "L" -- sincerely, Richard Weide (my dad Chet was from Yates Center).
