I became interested in my ancestry after my dad passed away. I thought I knew all about his 'side' of the family, but after discovering numerous photos I realized it was the tip of the iceberg. If only I'd taken the time to listen to the stories.
I've developed an appreciation for what can be discerned in otherwise 'mundane' details and worked on the lineage of both my parents as well as numerous friends. FAG has been a phenomenal resource and the kindness of strangers as well as previously unknown distant relation have helped me piece together a beautiful tapestry.
The photos I've posted are here for your use. If I didn't take the photo, I've sought permission to use it. If you are connected to the memorials I manage in a meaningful way, I am happy to transfer. Thank you to all the contributors who have assisted me - I hope to pay it forward.
