I started working on genealogy about 28 years ago and found it fascinating! I took a short break to raise my family and returned to it about 10 years ago. Now my family might say it nearly consumes me and all my time.|
On a recent trip to Idaho, I even went graveyard searching to gather family headstone photos! Yes, they are posted on here!
I am always willing to help others with questions and willing to learn from those that have more knowledge than I do.
I believe that if we have access to the information, we should do our best to preserve it, provide it, post it, update it, or correct it for others. Otherwise it may be lost or forgotten.
When doing my research, I seem to feel that I travel back to the time of my ancestors and am right there with them. I feel their struggles and losses right there with them.
I would love to be able to go back in time and spend an afternoon asking questions. Maybe getting some of those 'just out of reach' answers.
****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain the records please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce multiple name listings.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)

Yes, this is the right family and I made a mistake about his first wife, Florence, being buried there. I have changed her memorial to unknown for now and if I can't find the cemetery, I will delete it. Can't believe I missed this! Florence is my mother-in-law's aunt so I will ask her if she knows where Florence is buried. I suspect it is in Hood River, Oregon. Thanks so much for all your help!

Thank you very much for taking and posting the lovely photo of Leslie's headstone. I appreciate your thoughtfulness!
|Donna Anderson Bridges||William McKinley Fry|
My husband, Robert W Bridges' mother, Ethel Maude Fry Bridges, is a sister to William, (we called him uncle Willie). When Bob worked for PSA we flew up to see him in Desmone, Washington. He also visited us in San Diego. What is your husbands name?
|Nathan Haines||Clifton Porphory Roberts|
I got pics per your request for Clifton Roberts. Are you sure you have him linked to the right Dorothy? He is buried with a wife Dorothy but a different Dorothy than his page is linked to.
I added pics to the Dorothy he is buried with also.

I just wanted to let you know that the woman that posted the memorials passed away the other day. While reading her bio on findagrave I noticed you had asked for a couple of transfers. You will need to get in touch with info@findagrave and see if they will transfer them to you ....
Her name was Carolyn Louis Carpenter, in case you would like to visit her memorial
|Timothy Barbeau||Stuart H Barbeau|
His name was Stuart Reese Paul Barbeau born Jul 31, 1907 Fergus Falls, Minnesota died July 27, 1972 Fall City, Washington
|Carol B||Chloe Taylor|
I found Chloe today and while I was getting ready to post her picture I realized that another person requested a picture of Mercy Cox (her mother). I didn't know if you wanted to contact that person in case you both have a connection. Any chance you have a possible name of a child who died young with the last name of Taylor? There is a small headstone between Mercy and Chloe that I can barely read. I'll be posting a picture of John Taylor's headstone also - Chloe's husband. (I've never seen headstones with so much writing on them!) I'll wait until I hear from you in case my posting the pictures erases the name of the other person inquiring. ~ Carol

|Sandi Gill||Mary Jane Cory|
I will be glad to transfer Mary Jane Patterson Cory to you. Request the transfer. You'll see an Edit for the Plot data. Add the Veterans' Section. The cemetery is large and the section helps.
