I was borned in Ft. Lauderdale FL. (Broward CO) in 1951. My family is from Decatur AL. (Morgan Co.)The Brown side goes back to the late 1700's or further in Alabama. My Grandmother Brown's maiden name was Roberts which migrated from Tennessee via flatboat TN River through Chattanooga. Most of the Brown's and Robert's are buried at Johnson Chapel in Morgan Co.AL. My Mother was a Clements from Walker Co. Alabama with heavy Indian connections. My mothers lineage is linked with Samuel Clemons although the spelling is different. I have the family tree of the Clements side with over 4000 names. I see the Samuel Clemons (Mark Twain) plugged in there but I'm not sure I can validate it.
