I was born in Carrollton but traveled the world as a military "brat". I was always the child that begged for ancestor stories and wanted to know where we "came" from. Combine that with my love of history and antiques and a geneaologist was created! I believe as an individual I cannot fully realize where I am going until I know where I have been. I love visiting cemeteries and always have and now I enjoy locating the final burial places of my ancestors.
Now I am working on my husband's family (to discover we are fourth cousins). I help friends with their ancestry as well. I am interested in the memorials of family - Porter, Rooks, Williamson, Fritts, Faught, Hammond, Jackson, and Perry to name a few. Ancestry is the name and research is my game! Happy Hunting!
