Sandra, The only way to contact someone with messages turned off is thru one of their memorials. The edit tab will send the message on. Hope this helps.

I'm not the one who created the memorial for your grandmother. Go to the memorial there is an edit tab click that then go Send a correction. This is the only way to contact this contributor. She can tell you where the info came from. She will probably transfer the memorial to you. For obits I use www.genealogybank.com It is a paid site but they have a 30 day free trial. Hope this helps.
