Bio

My wife and I live in Huntsville, Alabama and we both graduated from Lee High School in 1964. We have three adult sons, a grand daughter and three great grandchildren. I'm a dedicated fan of The University of Alabama football team; Roll Tide! I served in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer, USS Hopewell (DD-681) and am a Vietnam veteran (1966).

I've been working on my family tree off and on for some time now but, lost a lot of my info during a remodel on our home. I've just started recompiling a little bit at a time since I retired from the cable tv industry in 2010. I stumbled across FindAGrave.com in searching for ancestors and realized how much work all the contributors have put forth in compiling all this data into these memorials. I like to think of this as showing honor and respect in creating memorials to all the loving, gentle family and friends that have passed on before me. I LOVE REUNITING FAMILIES via the family link feature on here.

My family consists of SHARP - HALL and HILLIS - MCPHERSON families. My wife's family consists of FREEMAN - STOVALL and ANDERSON - AUSTIN families.

If one of my memorial creations is a close relative of yours (within four generations), I'll be more than happy to transfer it to you. If any of my memorials help anyone in the completion of their family tree, then so much the better. I just hope one of my sons or another family member will assume the management of my memorials after I leave this world to be with my Heavenly Father.

I truly appreciate all your memorial creations and hope I can be of some help to others that are searching for their ancestors. Please be patient with me if I make any mistakes; if so, I'll be happy to make any corrections necessary! May God bless each and every one of you...
