I retired in December 2010 and one of the things I would like to do in retirement is genealogy research. I also love photography so when I discovered the Find A Grave site and that you could be a volunteer photographer I signed right up! My husband loves doing this with me so he signed up too. We enjoy driving around and finding the cemeteries and then looking for the graves is like going on a treasure hunt. It is a fun pastime for us and I love knowing that it helps someone looking for their ancestors' graves that don't live in the area and can't do it themselves. When I get time to start my own research, I know I will need someone to take photos for me in the Arkansas area and who knows where else!
