Genealogy is one of my very favorite hobbies, I enjoy finding new family members. I also enjoy helping others find their family, if I have added your family member to findagrave.com and you want me to transfer them to you, no problem, unless I have an emotional attachment to them - no harm in asking. If you find any mistakes, no matter how small, please inform me - always happy to make things right. I'm also very happy to add missing information, the more information we have the better we get to know our family member. If you have a link request, please send it - I love having family members linked, for some reason it's a comfort to me - they were linked on earth so why not have them linked after death - nice symbolism.|
I add people to findagrave.com because I want people to be remembered, we should never forgot those who have moved on from this world - those who have paved the way for us.
If I've added a picture to a memorial page and there is not space to add a more personal item, please contact me about removing my item.
Please feel free to use any thing I've posted on findagave.com in your personal family tree software or in your family tree on such sites as ancestry.com.
You have a nice day! ✞

|Shawn Riley||RE: Lydia Anderson Roberts|
Hi Annette. I've been to both cemeteries and they are definitely different. One is over by Marshall and the other is across the river from Barnard. The problem with cemetery names in this area, they typically went by the last name of the land owner or whoever donated the land for the cemetery. In Madison County there are actually 6 cemeteries (that I know of) that share the name Roberts, and death certificates rarely distinguish which one they are referring to. I'll be happy to add an AKA Roberts Cemetery to the Tom Roberts Cemetery. I was going to do that anyways. By the way, I sent similar messages to two other individuals with misplaced memorials. One was for Lydia's husband, Tom. Thanks for helping out. ~ Shawn

Thanks so much for sharing the information. I'm not related but was transferred the memorials when I sent suggestions while adding photos. I don't mind managing them at all!!! If you are related and would like to manage them yourself let me know. :) Also the manager of the memorial for Carlie looks to be inactive but if you sent links/suggestions hopefully they will be done in a month either way. I guess with the new system when you send an "edit" if there is no response within a month Find A Grave does them automatically. If they don't seem to be active you can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for a transfer and they will check into it. It might take a while but worth a try. That way the family can be cared for properly on the site. Have a great weekend!!!
I believe five of those children died of mingiest, all with in a year or so. I sent some clippings on a couple of them to holders of the sites. Some people do not put them on. I did not keep a copy.

Hi Annette - I added the death index to her bio, and also updated her birth and death dates and linked her to her parents. Thanks for the information. And a very merry Christmas to you!
Name came directly from the Forest Lawn directory of memorials. After you asked, I checked the CA Death Index and SSDI, and both have him listed as Jack, and the memorial photo shows Jack. I will change the listing, and add a note that shows the Forest Lawn directory listing seems to be incorrect. If you are a family member, you might consider contacting Forest Lawn and asking them to update their listing. They did the best they could with thousands of old records, many of which were difficult for them to transcribe or optically machine read.
Thanks for pointing out the issue. This is how we get more accurate listings. Happy holidays

That's very kind of you. It helps to have a halfway decent Olympus camera with a zoom lens - and a passion for the subject.

I'm not related to most of the people for whom I have created memorial pages and I believe memorial pages should belong to relatives.
When I saw she is your cousin, I felt compelled to transfer the page. Let me know if I have created any other pages for your ancestors. If my daughter-in-law or my son-in-law (my family is not from around here) are not more closely related I will transfer them to you, as well.
|Eula-Maye Harmon Willey||RE: Thank you!!!!|
I transferred her memorial to you as she is not related to me yet! LOL. You can contact Find A Grave and merge them as you see fit.
|Lori Hager||RE: Thank you!!!!|
You're welcome, Annette
Let me know if I have any of your other relatives and I'll transfer them too.
Thanks for reaching out Annette. I appreciate all of your efforts!
