Born and raised in Corn Hollow in Owltown District of Union County, Georgia. Went to school at Blairsville Elementary School, Union County High School. Both of Blairsville, Union County, Georgia and went to Tri-County Community College at Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina. A Viet Nam Veteran serving in the US Army as a teletype operator (1966-1968). Worked in the telephone and computer field most of my working career. Most of the phone work was in the business phone systems area. Am retired now and working on my genealogy for the most part.
