RE: The Roach Family
I am related very distantly through marriage. I ended up in the Roach family through decendancy research, starting in the Boulware family, which is my father-in-law's ancestors.

Thank you for the offer, but the tremendous photos and notes you have provided through Find A Grave will be enough for our family's purposes.

Thank you so much for your great work!

RE: May Swanson Thiry
Hello,

I am very distantly related also.

I have seen a birth record for her which gives her name as Flora May L Swanson. This is only the indexed record on FamilySearch.org and no image of this record is available there to double check if the L was misread.

You can view this record at the following webpage:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VJPK-VLP

If you go to the page you can see that, at the bottom, there are reference numbers for the record. You can contact FamilySearch about sending you a PDF of the image for this record so you can double check whether the "L" looks like it should really be read as an "M".

It would be strange for her to have a second last name. Her birth record clearly shows her father's name as Swanson and her mother's as Lundgren (with various spellings).

Good luck in your research.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

RE: Louis Goldfinger
Oh dear, thank you for catching that. Spouse is now linked to one Louis as her husband!
