RE: Thomas Wm Rees

Hi! What a great picture!!
Unfortunately, I have no idea which one he is!!
Maybe a relative of his will see it and will be able to let you know ... sure hope so!!
I'll have a look at some of the trees on-line & see if I can tell if any are by a descendant!

RE: Thomas Wm Rees
Hi again!

If you are asking about Thomas Wm, and if I remember corrrectly, Thomas Wm's parents (Lewis & Daisy) were married in Leavenworth, their children were born there and TW is buried there. Most of the Rees family seemed to move back & forth between Jackson Co MO & Leavenworth KS and most are buried in Mt Muncie Cemetery in Leavenworth.
Does that help?
Have a great day!

RE: The Lemen Family
Hi, Lee. The short answer is, no, I'm not related to the Lemens. However, I probably made the memorial for them in 2012 when I was researching my family and noticed that there was nothing on Findagrave for them. My great grandmother's sister, Mary Ettie Cummings, was married to James Wesley Childers, and his brother, Joseph Warren Childers, was married to Rebecca Angeline Howell. Rebecca's brother, John Coleman Howell, was married to Lola Avice Lemen, daughter of William David and Elizabeth Frances Allen Lemen. Ta da! I was researching the Allen family because my 3rd g grandfather, Richard Anderson Allen, was born in VA in 1825, lived in Indiana and then in Putnam Co., MO. I can't find a trace of him after 1860, so he might have joined the Confederate Army. I believe his parents were James Allen and Frances Garten, and he had at least seven siblings. Do you have any info about the family of Elizabeth Frances Allen Lemen? If you are related to the Lemens, I will gladly transfer their memorials to you. Regards, Diane

RE: Thomas Wm Rees

Hi Lee!!

My nephew (my brother & his late wife's son) is descended from Richard Ridgway Rees's daughter Mary Paulina Rees Perkins, sister of Thomas Wm's father Lewis.
Are you related?

Sure! Can you just email me? I am only related through marriage. Does it say who is in the family photo?

RE: Milton Sargent Roach (Memorial# 93763561) and Family
your message:
Also, I have I have Rebecca Jane Mason DeVol as being buried in the Devol Cemetery not the Mason Cemetery and from what I can see the stone you uploaded to the duplicate memorial you made does not say her name. What makes you believe she is buried there?

my answer:
I see you moved her to the correct cemetery!!

Her name is on the stone at the top!! says Rebecca!!!

RE: Sophia (Palmer) Mosse
Yes, there is only one Mosse buried at Riverview according to the spread sheet and it is a man. Sorry for the mix up on first names. Linda

RE: Rebecca Jane Mason DeVol # 93763776
Thank you for pointing this out to me. I did a double check and she is buried in the 'Old' Coal Run cemetery now known as the Mason cemetery. I was bad in the beginning and used the excel group sheets on many of the memorials I entered. This I am finding was a mistake.
Please check her memorial for updated information
