|Julie Riisoe Ackerman||Grace Margaret Cornelson Diers|
I am really glad you found my message. I had never left one before. I have all the photos scanned and would love to share them with you. I was talking to my brother today (who is 14 years older than me) and we were talking about Andy Diers. My mother lost her real mother when she was about 1-1/2 years old. She was taken in by her mother's sister, Christine and Herman Diers, who were the parents of Andy Diers, who was married to Grace. I will send you pictures if you will send me your email address. I can also send you anything else I have in the way of family history also. My email address is email@example.com. You can send me a message and I will then send you photos, etc. I check my email everyday and will look for a message from you. When I send it back to you I will put Hello From Offerle in the address line. I am glad I am hearing from you. It is good to connect with relatives in common.

|Julie Riisoe Ackerman||Andrew & Grace Diers|
My mother was raised by Andrew's parents as a sister to Andrew, Bill, Fred, and Mary. Her mother was a sister to Andrew's mother. I have many photos, obituaries, etc. from the Diers family, if you are interested in seeing them. I live in Offerle, which is 25 miles east of Dodge City. I would be interested in having contact with you, as the granchildren of Bill Diers have been in touch with me and I have been sharing many things with them. I have a picture of Grace and Annette Diers before her death, plus many other family photos. There are still relatives of the Diers' family living in this area. Please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org

|Lynn Simon||Turley family|
Thank you for the transfer Mahala Turley's memorial. Nice to hear from you also. I have been working on my family for only a dozen years. My saving grace is that my maternal uncle started on mom's family in 1971.
This past few months, I have been doing nothing but updates to my family tree, seeing what new records are online. Checking if the out of state members are on Find A Grave, etc. I love that there are more legal records now available online. Good luck on you searches. Lynn

I would like to request permission to use the photo of Jesse McCavender Christie on my Ancestry tree.
Your consideration is most appreciated.

My dad does have some pictures of the Heggy's that I can get and send to you. You could send me the pictures that you have and we can check with the family here.
|Katrina Henry||RE: Mary Pear Heggy Sturgeon|
I have he date of birth as 10-26-1894 and she died on 4-25-1977.
|Katrina Henry||Mary Pear Heggy Sturgeon|
She is my grandmother and she died in Hutchinson, KS. I don't know where the California information came from.
|GN Corder||RE: Heggy's|
As to pictures of Heggy's Melissa, I'm not sure, but I'll look around. Gertie, as you know is a "Corder", and she would be my dad's aunt. Clarissa and James Benjamin Corder would be my great grand parents. I don't remember meeting any of them as we lived in Minneapolis. My dad and I did come down and stayed with Leo & Geraldine Heggy back in 1981, and also Sam Molen who lived in Nilwood.
Are you in anyway related? If so, I'd like your direct email. I do have a couple of pictures
|GN Corder||RE: Gertie Heggy|
I've seen Nilwood used in place of North Otter. Not sure about South Otter. Perhaps Girard or Palymra would do, or just leave the twsp blank and use the county (Macoupin).
My dad was born in Atwater...not sure what that would be? Maybe North also?
|Gary L. Otten||James Bristow|
I have not seen the stone. I entered the info from a book Tombstone Revelations put out by the Historical Society of Macoupin County. They supposedly read all the grave stones in Northern Macoupin co and compiled the book. What the entry in book says is: James W. Bristow (Rev. Jones W.-son of F.P. & Nancy) 1888-1949 Section Ee in Girard cem.
