Your consideration is most appreciated.

My dad does have some pictures of the Heggy's that I can get and send to you. You could send me the pictures that you have and we can check with the family here.

I have he date of birth as 10-26-1894 and she died on 4-25-1977.
|Katrina Henry||Mary Pear Heggy Sturgeon|
She is my grandmother and she died in Hutchinson, KS. I don't know where the California information came from.

As to pictures of Heggy's Melissa, I'm not sure, but I'll look around. Gertie, as you know is a "Corder", and she would be my dad's aunt. Clarissa and James Benjamin Corder would be my great grand parents. I don't remember meeting any of them as we lived in Minneapolis. My dad and I did come down and stayed with Leo & Geraldine Heggy back in 1981, and also Sam Molen who lived in Nilwood.
Are you in anyway related? If so, I'd like your direct email. I do have a couple of pictures

I've seen Nilwood used in place of North Otter. Not sure about South Otter. Perhaps Girard or Palymra would do, or just leave the twsp blank and use the county (Macoupin).
My dad was born in Atwater...not sure what that would be? Maybe North also?

I have not seen the stone. I entered the info from a book Tombstone Revelations put out by the Historical Society of Macoupin County. They supposedly read all the grave stones in Northern Macoupin co and compiled the book. What the entry in book says is: James W. Bristow (Rev. Jones W.-son of F.P. & Nancy) 1888-1949 Section Ee in Girard cem.

Glad it was helpful. Many kind souls helped me a lot when I first started. And the site was not nearly as big nor did it has many neat features like the links. I had to learn a little html in order to link within memorials. Still do that with siblings where burials on parents aren't known yet as I refuse to be one of the people who see this as another genealogy web site only instead of a graves registration with genealogy benefits. It is nice to link families but only when the actual burial is known or ashes are scattered, etc.

If you would suggest the corrections needed on the memorial on the memorial tab, so I can make the proper corrections in my off-line work, I will probably honor your request for a transfer although it does not fall within findagrave guidelines as you are not a direct relative. Could we please communicate through the edit tab. Thank you.
