I'm retired and my hobby is genealogy research. I have been researching since the early 1980's. I will go almost anywhere, libraries, cemeteries, court house, and other government facilities to research information. Another hobby is photography and I would be glad to find tombstones and photograph them. I also repair old antique photos. I do not retouch the original, but make a copy or use photo's sent to me through e-mail. Will remove scratches, water stains, etc., for a very small fee. I'll be glad to share some of my work for those who are interested.

Margaret Dickson Memorial
I have added a photo for this memorial. You may want to add the following obituary--------------

Paducah Sun Obituaries Jul 04, 2010

Margaret "Trudy" Gertrude Romain Dickson, 76, of Paducah, formerly of West St. Paul, Minn., died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday at Lourdes hospital.

Mrs. Dickson was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program and of the Paducah Stitch and Quilt Guild.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Dickson of Paducah; one brother, the Rev. Ray D. Romain of Lone Oak; one grandson, Cameron Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents were Samuel Earl and Mary Ann Boswell Romain.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle with the Rev. Aaron Stamper officiating. Burial will be at Mount Kenton Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home and after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Transfers
I made the transfers to you. The great-greats are out of guide lines, but I did go on and transfer them to you. Hope that you like the way I did the information. I like to add information that gives a person a life, other than a date of birth and death. Of course you can change or do whatever you wish to them now. MHN

Transfer
Go to the memorial that you want transferred. In the upper right hand corner, click the edit tab, then click Suggest a correction or provide additional information, then where it says message just type what you want done. Since I already know that you want a transfer of your great-grandparents you don't have to explain . Just type in transfer.
Then click send

Find a Grave will send me a message from you that will give me the name of the person that the request is for, and it will show your contributor #. That way all I have to do is click the transfer button and they will send you a notice that it has been transferred to you. Not as complicated as it might sound but that is the way it is suppose to be done and prevents mistakes in the numbers. I will see that you get your great-grandparents, but please try the correct way, that is in the Find a Grave rules. MHN

Cebren Simpson Belcher
I have a clickable hyperlink in James bio for Cebren and have ask his memorial manager to make a link to his parents. If she doesn't do this within 30 days I will send to edit and ask to have it made. The link from child to parent has to be made by the memorial manager for Cebren. Wish I could do it but the hyperlink is the best I can do. You can still request a transfer for your great-grandparents James and Betty and I will transfer them to you. Are you familiar with the process for doing this? I make corrections sent thru the edit tab not from my contributor page. That way the information is all there and I do not have to look anything up and perhaps make a mistake. MHN

Belcher Family
Request your great-grandparents thru the edit and I will transfer them to you. They are within the Find a Grave guidelines. I have not finished adding information to all the Belcher memorials yet so you might want to check back within the next few days and there might be some information that will be helpful MHN

RE: Walter H. Curry
Walter Curry is one of the over 400 Spanish American War soldiers from Floyd Co. that I am researching. I will be sharing my research with the local library and the web site of the Sons of Spanish American War Veterans. Is there a photo of Walter that I can use on his page? I would really like a picture of him in his uniform, but if that's not possible, any photo will do. Thanks, Douser
