Much of my time now is spent searching for those connected to the families of Slucher, Drury, and Stucker. It has become a lot bigger project than I originally thought.

A group of us locally have formed a limited liability company to maintain and preserve the Graefenburg Community Cemetery (located on Crab Orchard Road in Graefenburg, Shelby County, Kentucky) by keeping it mowed and maintained out of respect for the families of people that are buried there. Some dead trees need removing and the fences need to be kept in good repair. Some stones need to be reset and repaired. We depend on the generosity of local churches, individuals, and descendants of those interred for funds to employ qualified people. We are a 501 (c) 3 and 509 (a) non-profit organization listed as Graefenburg Community Cemetery, LLC. It is a pleasure to be able to oversee the care of this cemetery so that descendants and friends may visit the final resting place of their ancestors in a comfortable setting. The cemetery is no longer active and it has been a few years since the last burial. All known burial sites are listed on FAG.
