My husband and I have been researching our family history and genealogy for a good long while – since 1995 for me, since 1976 for my husband. The surnames I am researching are Ellis, Landrith(eth), McPherson, and Nash. My husband is researching Nutt, Hunt, Halsal, Davy, and Rowley. There is almost nothing we'd rather do than walk cemeteries on nice weather days. We appreciate Find A Grave making it possible for us to document our family graves for posterity.

If you believe any changes are required to any of the memorials that we have added, please E-mail us using the ‘Suggest a correction' link found under the ‘Edit' tab on the upper right side of the memorial. This way it links directly to the memorial in question.

TRANSFERS: We are usually quite agreeable with transferring any of our "non-relative" memorials over to you upon your request. Ask and ye shall receive. However, if you request transfer of one of our relative's memorials, explain your relationship in the request and why you believe it would be better for you to manage the memorial and we will give serious consideration to your request. Please note that it is not appropriate to request a transfer and then, after receiving the transfer, delete that page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created. This practice denies credit to the original contributor (us). Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information.

DUPLICATE MEMORIALS: It is not our desire to create multiple memorials for the same individual. If you find a duplicate memorial that we made, please know that it was an unintended mistake on our part and accept this extended apology in advance. Please notify us of our error by using the ‘Edit" tab on the upper right side of the memorial, and then click on the ‘Suggest a correction' link to send us an E-mail. Be sure to include in your E-mail the memorial ID # of our duplicate memorial. Kindly allow us thirty days from your original request for us to resolve the mistake.

Sampson Grisham FAG 106346155
Mary Hartman added military information for Sampson Grisham Find A Grave 106346155. I need to know where she got the information, as I am unable to find sources that he did serve in the war. Thanks for your reply.

Rachael Matilda Landreth

I just started researching my family line and came to Rachael Matilda & Riley Anderson. Are you familiar with these too? I thought they had another son name John Henry born after James Rufus Anderson, would you know? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

RE: Margaret Lenora Ellis Hutchison
Hi Peggy,
I was looking at her memorial today and wondering why I had transferred her to you, so I truly appreciate your kindness by transferring her back to me. Hopefully, I can add more information to help honor her memory.

Thank you very much,

RE: Thank you!
You are very kind.
I once saw a typo in a name.... and corrected it.
Then I saw another...
21,000 corrections later... I am still at it.

Added the information you gave me regarding this gentleman. I added him because I added the headstone - if you are related and would like the memorial let me know. Sue

RE: Thank You
You're very welcome. "N" = stone not likely & so far has not been found. Warnick = funeral home used. 7-16-1964 = date of interment. You can do whatever you want with that info on the memorial.

Smythers / Landreth
Hi Peggy
Good to hear from you. My grandmother passed 3 years ago and she was a Smythers. I guess you know that Charles Smythers also passed away. I asked him to share his tree before he died and all that he would tell me was go to the Carroll County Courthouse. Did he share any with you all?
