Bio and Links
I love Find A Grave and so pleased with my discoveries I have found through Find A Grave. I really appreciate all who have fulfilled my photo requests and transferred a memorial to me. My goal is to link my deceased family members, hoping to get grave sites of all children linked to their parents. I like to do a bit of a bio if I can, so our cherished history is not lost.

If you are looking for a veteran at San Fernando Mission Cemetery I have virtual cemeteries for veterans. There are many veterans I do not have listed. With the large number at this cemetery it is a challenge to log them all. Most Vietnam veterans that were killed in action are listed.

I am a photo volunteer. I am willing to transfer a memorial, other than my ancestors. If you are requesting a photo at Mission San Fernando Cemetery it is very helpful to provide the burial plot location on your request. You can get this info from the cemetery office. The office hours are M-F 8 am-5 pm, Sat 8 am-4 pm, phone # 818-361-7387.

Hi Susie! I was wondering if you would be able to add links to Rollin Ellison's memorial (#87134063). His father is Arthur Maxwell Ellison (#49467021) and his mother is Minta "Merle" Reynolds Ellison (#45279698). Rollin was my uncle and thank you for getting his memorial on here.

RE: Chapline-Thompson marriages
Your welcome.

The information proving my Alexander Thompson's family comes from the land records of the Sharpsburg, MD area. They are found in the Hagerstown, MD archives.

Good luck in your further searchings,

Deb

RE: Chapline-Thompson marriages
No, Ruhama Thompson (1752-1822) and Alexander Thompson(1753-1815) did not have a son named Samuel.

Alexander's father was Samuel Thompson(1687-1787) of York Co, PA. He was a country minister ordained through the Presbytery.

Their children were Ruhama Thompson ( 1786-1835), Joseph C Thompson (1788-1862), Mercy Lacy Thompson (1793-1868) and Sarah Thompson (1797-1850).

They had a grandson named Samuel Thompson (1831-1906) of Franklin Co Ohio.
