From 1998-2013 I served as treasurer of the Mt Pleasant Cemetery. My parents were Vodie and Lola Mae (Murphey)Garrigus. Every effort is being made to enter every name of those buried at Mt Pleasant. Using older written records has allowed me to enter memorials to those without a grave marker. Let's help one another make sure the entries are correct. To do this it is necessary to contact the memorial creater when an error has been found so a correction can be made. Many of the persons I have entered are not related to me and I will be happy to transfer management to a close relative.
