Bio Photo Retired, age 73, live in Liberty, Clay Co., Missouri

Do Clay County Missouri work as time permits.

All photos taken by me are free, while I hold the copyright I give the pictures to any one who wants them for whatever use they deem appropriate.

Quoting another FAG contributor and agreeing.

"I think it is a real shame what FindAGrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers and enter the memorial first!! What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them".
Or a game of getting back at others, as well, instead of trying to work with one another, you chose to work against each other. If only we could all start from scratch and just get along think how wonderful this site would be?

Middlemas Family
Thank you so very much for the transfer of Charles and Lida (Nicholson) Middlemas. It was unexpected, but very appreciated, as well as you are appreciated for the work you have done for this site.

I read your bio and I completely agree with every word that you rewrote. What happened to just being kind. Well, you have done just that and it is the kindness you have shown that can renew the faith that kindness still exist.

Thank you again for the memorial transfers and for the message you are presenting.

Very truly yours,
Tanya Reed-Ringo Bush

RE: Amery clan
John,
If you have some special sources for locating ancestors, would you try searching for Charles Amery. He is the only child that I know born to Marvin and Naomi Amery. He would have been born around 1916 in Carroll county, Missouri. He lived outside the law until incarcerated. His ashes suddenly appeared in the mail box for Cousin Donald to claim.

With such few details, Charles Amery is difficult to make a memorial for.

I am not a member of ancestor.com or such. So, I am limited in locating information. I just add to findagrave those that I knew.

RE: Mrs Close
Thank you for adding the information. Should some one need the complete obituary, let me know. Find A Grave rules forbid that obituaries include info on living persons. There are also copyright concerns. From my point of view, obituaries are genealogical and family tools, useful in finding family members either living or deceased. I feel that, once public, obituaries enter the public domain. 'nuff said....
