Retired, age 71, live in Liberty, Clay Co., Missouri|
Do Clay County Missouri work as time permits.
All photos taken by me are free, while I hold the copyright I give the pictures to any one who wants them for whatever use they deem appropriate.
Quoting another FAG contributor and agreeing.
"I think it is a real shame what FindAGrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers and enter the memorial first!! What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them".
Or a game of getting back at others, as well, instead of trying to work with one another, you chose to work against each other. If only we could all start from scratch and just get along think how wonderful this site would be?

I posted your edit in the Bio section in place of the marker transcription section.

I found her laid to rest with her parents and made memorials for them. Glad to help!

Hello John, you are most welcome and I do understand your disappointment that there was no marker. I feel it too when there is no headstone or marker when I am working to fulfill a photo request.
I give many thanks to the Arroyo Grande Community Cemetery crew who are so helpful to ensure i get the photos and information needed. They make every effort to locate a missing marker, ensure that the plot and section of burial is correct and drive me (via golf cart) to each burial site, provide shade with the cart when the sun casts harsh light on a marker.
A question for you ~ Is Dora Cramer a relative of yours? If so, if it's important to you that she has a proper marker, for you, I would ask the cemetery manager the best way to go about it.
This volunteer work is my delight because I meet kind, understanding people like you.

The cemetery manager dug where a marker or former brick should have been. None was found so a brick was painted and put in place today. To Dora's memorial I added the section and plot numbers and GPS coordinates.
There are various reasons some burial sites do not have gravestone. I'm told that often times families are unable to provide for the additional coast of a stone and hope to have one installed later, and never do. Of course a headstone or marker can be purchased and installed at anytime. The cemetery installs them at no charge.

Thank you so much for the edits! I am so sorry I did not see them sooner -- apparently Find A Grave no longer sends emails when there are edits requested. I will be happy to transfer this memorial to you if you would like, since I am not related. Just let me know.
