I have been researching family history since 2003 and found this to be full of beautiful history and sweet memories for me. I have found out about family members that I never knew about and reconnected with those that I had lost contact with. The sad thing that I have found is that some of these family members were alive during my life time and I never knew them. My guess is that people became too busy or had some sort of disagreement and I see this as a waste of precious memories. I have found that some either do not have memories to share or they just don't want too. A waste of history. Being the family historian I hope to have sweet memories for my children and descendants. On my memorial page I am trying to put families back together again just like they were in the beginning. Should I ask anyone to transfer a memorial to me it is for this reason only. If through this process I am able to connect with family members and maybe pick up new information I would be most happy.
