Since you'd posted a photo of and an interesting article about this gentleman, thought I'd mention having posted a photo of his tombstone at Mt Olivet and submitted an edit to the memorial manager saying that he is buried in Section 9.

RE: Sarah Pauline Parker
Thanks for the transfer. It's actually my husband's line. Callie Garton Parker is his great grandmother, through Zenna then Geraldine.

Callie and her husband (whom she always called Billy) were actually first cousins, once removed, so I guess the connection is really both lines.

Callie's father was Mark Garton. Mark had a sister -- Martha Garton --- who married James Thomas Herbison. MGH and JTH had a daughter, Elizabeth, who was WJ Parker's mother.

Confused yet?

What's your connection to Callie?

Hey - that would be great, thanks. Wasn't sure if you are a relative since you talked about your grandmother knowing her.

RE: Anna Philippi buried at New Market
No thanks. I am transcribing the death record for Clark Co., IN 1882-1971. I am up to 1905 and I am adding names to cemeteries as I go. But thanks for the offer.

Not necessary...I was going through correcting my entries due to pics being added and I just noticed it.....usually I pay more attention to the veteran graves....when I have a chance....did you check out Burtt Cemetery? I found it and photographed it.....what a trip!!!
