|LoRetta Hughes||Daniel Melton memorial #23897671|
In regards to your message to me:
"John Smith Melton was not the son of Daniel and Narcissus Fortune Melton, he was the son of Daniel and Narcissus LEQUIRE Melton, these are two seperate families. He was my ggreat Uncle."
Ronald, I did not create the memorial for
John Smith Melton...and I did not make the
link for his parents...
To get the link removed... you will have to
go through Rebecca, the person who created his
memorial and apparently still manages it.
|Robert C. Peurifoy||A.G. Melton|
Thank you for the information about A.G. I was his pastor from 1992 till his passing. It was my pleasure to share in doing his funeral, as well as that of his wife Julia.
Don't know why I didn't fill in other information about his life. I'll do some of that right now.
|The Collector||Daniel and Narcissa (Fortune) Melton|
If I understand you correctly or I am I confused, Elizabeth Catherine (Melton) McCurry's parents are Daniel and Narcissa who are buried at Golden Valley which agrees with my records. So need not do anything with Elizabeth Catherine but the individual who has the memorial for Narcissa needs to correct her middle name. Did you notify # 23897671. - Pat
|Elizabeth Olmstead||Arabella Arrowood|
Thank you so very much for that old obituary you sent on Arabella.
Please note I credited you with the transcription and sending it.
This is the death record for this Minnie..not sure what you want me to do. There has to be TWO individuals with the nearly the same name.

Could there have been a second wife, named Minnie? These memorials were made with actual death records on file. Thanks for your help!

Thanks you so much for straightening out the two Daniel Melton's whose wives first name was Narcissa. I finally have found how our line descends. I had these two families mixed up. We descend from Narcissa Luquire

|Elizabeth Olmstead||Old Obituaries|
A warm thank you for sending those old obituaries.
I will list you as sending, if you want.
If you read the bio for Augustus, you will see that he is buried at Baxter Cemetery, Newberry, SC. and not beside his wife. Thanks, MJ

|Gary S.||Lamer Willis|
Thanks for letting me know about Lamer's passing. I wasn't aware and my Dad was able to attend his funeral as a result. Sorry it has taken so long to update his memorial! Thanks again!
