Bio

All biographies on my memorials were written before any links were made and are the results of my own research unless otherwise noted.

I will gladly add any appropriate data if you will send it to me via "corrections and additions" under the edit tab on the memorial page. If the data concerns events occurring before 1900, include a verifiable source for your information. If I am unable to verify your EDIT I will decline it, and you will be asked to send your source.

Please do not add biographical information with your "flowers." Send the information to me and I will add it in the biography section, if appropriate.

I believe obituaries are a valuable resource providing genealogical information that may not be available elsewhere. These obituaries have already been published in numerous newspapers and on the internet, where circulation is much more prevalent then on Find A Grave. Anonymity has already been compromised, therefore, obituaries are included on my memorials. I do not change, add or delete information from the original obits. I will add a note if the obit has obvious or known errors.

The manager of a memorial is not notified when a photo has been added to a memorial. So although you will not receive a "thank you" from me, I do very much appreciate all the photos of the deceased that have been added to the memorials that I manage. These old photographs are priceless!!

I also invite anyone to post an original copy of a death certificate or obituary on the memorial. Please DO NOT add photos of census records, Social Security records and, most of all, photos of someone's family research to the memorials. Information from these records can and should be included in the biography section of the memorial.
