RE: Mary Dolan
Thanks for updating the information on Mary Lacy Dolan. You asked if I was a relative, my great-grandmother was a cousin of her husband William. Mary and William had 14 children.

Thank you so much for posting her obituaries! I really appreciate it. I had never been able to find those, though I've got ones for her husband William.

RE: Carl and Augusta Furstenau,
Thanks for your reply and advice. I'm pretty sure Fredrick is buried in Dodge Co. because he was 75 on the 1920 Dodge Co. census. And his wife died before him.

Don't suppose they have an Obits from the 1890's???

Sincerely,
Kathleen Hill

RE: Mary (Litjen) Zegers
Hello Scott,
Maria Litjens (with an -s) was born on January 31, 1841 at 01.00 hrs in Sevenum. (Sevenum was not an option in the database, only Horst aan de Maas, which is the name of the 'gemeente' today).
Her parents were Mathias (or Mathijs) Litjens and Christina Janssen

RE: Cora Rogers
Hi Scott, Thank you so much, however, Cora and I are very distantly related so you don't need to transfer the memorial to me. Wait for a closer relate than me.

Thanks for the updates though!

RE: Crowley Omaha Holy Sepulchre
Dear Scott:

Thanks for the clarification on the plot purchases by Stacia Crowley. At this time I am living overseas and thus perhaps it would be best not to transfer this to me as I may not be able to service any requests. In the interim, here is a short obit for father William Crowley for you to attach to his site.

The Late Wm. Crowley's Funeral

The funeral of the late William Crowley took place yesterday morning from his late residence on South Seventeenth street. The remains were borne to St. Philomena's cathedral where a requiem high mass was chanted by Rev. Father Carroll. The same gentleman delivered a tender, consolatory and eulogistic address. The choral music was rendered by the choir under the direction of Miss Fannie Arnold, who sang in a most tenderly expressive manner, "Sweet Spirit Rest". The pall bearers were General O'Brien, Andrew Murphy, Wm. Bushman, Frank Dellone, Thomas Switt and Thos. J. Fitzmorris. The remains were interred in Holy Sepulcre cemetery.

Best,

--JRK

RE: Mattocks
You are welcome, I was a little off my direct line that day, but had some info on her and husband Eli, my direct line goes through Richard and Mary Cline Mattocks, who was a brother of Joseph, father of Eli. Anyway, do you live in Mercer County, PA? I have been researching Richard and Mercer County, very fascinating history, the old cemeteries there look so beautiful. Thanks and best wishes. Nancy

RE: Carl and Augusta Furstenau,
Scott,
Thank you for your prompt response to my Edit Request.

Re your offer to Transfer Carl and Augusta Harker Furstenau - I would be very pleased to manage their Memorials and honor their memory. Thank you. My connection to them is thru their daughter Fredericka who married Fredrick Ihlenfeld.

I live in CA and Nebraska research would be almost impossible without Find A Grave records created by wonderful volunteers like you.

I have some "burning" questions I hope you might be able to help answer. Carl and Augusta had 3 sons whose Deaths and Burials I cannot find.

1. Fredrich (Frederick) "Fritz" Furstenau, born Dec 1845 in Germany, died between 1920 to 1930 in Platte, Dodge Co., NE. Married a widow Minnie Voight(Maiden name unknown). Minnie born Oct 1862 in Germany, died between 1910 - 1920 in Dodge Co., NE. They had no children together.

2. William M. Furstenau, born Feb 1849 in Germany, died between 1920 - 1923 in Fremont, Dodge Co., NE. Married Jenniw C. Spath who was born Sept 1861 in Germany, died after 1923. They had 7 children and 5 have Find A Grave Memorials in Scribner Cem., Fremont Memorial, and Saint Mary's.

3. Louis Henry born 1864 in Germany, died after 1885.

I would truly appreciate any help you might be able to give locating their graves.

You can email me at jak.ish@verizon.net

Thank you.
Sincerely,

Carl and Augusta Furstenau,
Scott,
Just found your recent creation of Memorials to Carl Furstenau and his wife Augusta at the Ridge Cemetery in Dodge Co., NE.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! So glad to know their actual birth and death dates taken from their tombstones!

I can now work on getting their children Linked to them.

Hope you realize how much the Memorials you add mean to those of us living outside Nebraska. Please keep up your good work.

Sincerely,
Kathleen Hill
