Just wanted to say thanks again for taking the photograph of the Joseph Barnes marker. I'd like to include your name in my list of Acknowledgements -- the people who have helped me complete this person's chapter in our family genealogy. I'd love to know your last name, if you'd care to share it. Do you live in Rock Falls, Illinois?
RE: John S Pfundstein Thank You!!!! for all you have done for others in searching for their ancestors. I was just messing with you when i did the research for John Samuel Pfundstein! my way of saying HI!!!! Neighbor!!!!! HA
You are right. Florence Daisy Miles Jackson was married to Freeman Phillips. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=90501759&ref=acom
Find-A-Grave says that her husband was cremated. It makes me wonder if she was cremated too. Unless she's buried under one of the last names: Miles or Phillips. It would be great if you could check that.
I had no clue about this marriage.
I don't have an obituary for her.
Both me and my husband want to be cremated, just because of cost. We already have a plot purchased because we feel it's really important for future generations to be able to connect to family. We may die and be forgotten. But you never know who may want to find us one day.
I really appreciate you working on this.
Hey, do you know if there's a site that lists cremation data? I know it's an odd question, but there's so many people cremated, and there must be records somewhere.
