RE: Christopher Sampson
I wonder if it's missing or if it could be one of the markers with the writing worn off, 1864 is a long time.

RE: Ingvald Anderson
The reason I wanted you to change the parents is there are two cemeteries with the same name in two different counties in Minnesota. Both cemeteries have the same list of people in them. The right cemetery is the one that is in Polk County. However because the map shows where the cemetery is for both as being the same one and my memorials were added after the other memorials, I was going to be the better person and have my links moved to hers and then delete mine. I have contacted find a grave to have them merge the two cemeteries into one and now we wait until they do so.

Hey Mary!

I go one e-mail at a time so I didn't see your Winger Cemetery e-mail until after I took care of the first e-mail.

I'll move her to Winger.

Thank you so much for the information!!

Best wishes
judy :)

Hi, thank you for your response. The cemetery info we got from the certificate of death. Any chance he is there in a unmarked grave?

RE: Hilda Kvaale memorial
the å is often Americanized as aa, but I just checked the birth information on Olav's father - they came from Bygland, Aust Agder, Norway. So I'm guessing it's a completely different family. When I search for Kvåle farm the other day, google said there are a number of farms with that name.

I don't even know where to start. My ggg grandmother we believe to be Luana Verplank born 1788 in New York married Jonathan Carrier.

Jonathan and Luana had Amos Carrier married to
Elsie Tichenor..her sister Abigail married
David Henry Verplank brother to Edwin Elias
Verplank..the general consensus is that Luana was the sister to these two but her birth would have
made her father 18 when she was not to
sure if that is correct.

Jonathan and Luana also named one of their son's David Verplank's enough to make your head swim. Jonathan and Luana are buried in Cayuga County New York and the rest of these folks are mostly buried in Michigan..The Carrier's, Tichenors and Verplanks are all intertwined.
