RE: Landstad-Hope
Thank you, Mary! That is what I thought you had said earlier, but wanted to be sure.

Have a blessed Easter!

Hi Mary,

I see there are thirteen memorials in Hope cemetery - as opposed to Lanstad-Hope.

I have Barbara Larson Thompson in Landstad-Hope and someone duplicated the memorial in Hope several days later.

Do I have her in the correct cemetery?

Thank you!

Yes, I think it looks like Ronne. Thanks

RE: Landstad - Hope Cemetery
What you are doing is not confusing. However, Hope Cemetery is well known by that name and is listed in obituaries as Hope. After all the memorials are transferred to Landstad-Hope anyone searching under "Cemetery Lookup" for Hope Lutheran Cemetery will not find a listing. I would think Find A Grave administrators would be willing to leave the name Hope Lutheran in their list and just have a notice such as "See Landstad-Hope"

Landstad - Hope Cemetery
I have edited my Hope Memorials to Landstad - Hope as you requested. I did not transfer as these are all family.

Will the Find A Grave management be leaving the name "Hope Lutheran" in their Cemetery Lookup, perhaps with a note referencing Landstad?

Narum changes
Hi Mary. I made the suggested changes and moved my gr-grandparents' links to Kingo Cemetery. Thanks so much for letting me know!

RE: Hannah & Jacob Milsten
I think I understand now. Thank you for bearing with me and helping me to get it through my thick head. It's just that I've moved people once before on another occasion only to have to move them back again, etc . . . It was a long struggle. I'll take care of that straight away and hope that no one has made another memorial for either of these Milstens. I did a quick search and it doesn't look like that's happened, but seems like from reading through your public messages there's the possibility of that problem.

RE: Hannah & Jacob Milsten
I'm not trying to be obtuse here, but I don't live in the area and have never been there. I'm having a hard time understanding how a cemetery can be created here at Find A Grave, memorials can be created, people can physically go there and take pictures of markers, but it's not correct. I do know of a case in Nebraska (I don't live there either, but have been there) where there are two cemeteries side by side. Somehow or another, there was confusion as to where the dividing line was between the two and memorials were created placing people in the incorrect cemetery. Is this something along those lines?
