Hello Cathy,
Thank you for contacting me. I've both made changes to your direct ancestor: James Bearse's Memorial and transferred management to you, as requested. I'm a direct descendant of James' sister: Priscilla Bearse Hall. So, we're appar-ently related in some way.. cousin. It's nice to make your acquaintance. Do you have a Family Tree online for review to share? Thank you.
Regards,
Ken Kelly

I will have to refer to my book, "Watson Genealogy of Northern New York" and will let you know what I find. Charlotte

Re: Lydia Kellogg - maiden name
Hi, I don't know which spelling, Belding or Belden, would have been correct. Given the era in which she lived both spellings were probably used and I've seen either used depending on which record you find. She undoubtedly couldn't read or write so whatever spelling her father favored was probably most commonly used. Unfortunately I don't have any records on him, not even his name.

RE: Daniel Boreman's memorial
You click on "learn about removing ads" and it will ask for your credit card number. To sponsor, it will cost you $5 and is a 1 time charge per grave. This will take away the sponsor commercials at the top of the grave entry. There will also be a "heart" next to the name as listed in the cemetery. I try to sponsor a few of my ancestors at a time.

RE: Deacon David Bosworth
I just did a "bing" search and found that the information in the red notebook (index, map, etc.) of Sturtevant Cemetery, by Anne Sturtevant, is available on USGenWeb at http://plymouthcolony.net/halifax/sturtevant/stur-int.html
Hope this helps.

Just remembered that Sturtevant Cemetery was also called Monponsett Pond-East Cemetery. And I believe the red notebook I referred to was prepared by Anne N. Sturtevant in 1997, so not all that many years ago, I guess.

Hi Cathy,
No I don't know if all the graves in Sturtevant Cemetery have been documented on Findagrave. I do know when we visited the Town Clerk's office in Halifax in Sept 2011 she had a red notebook with a listing of all buried there, by row, when it was indexed many years ago. She copied several pages for us and we visited the cemetery and took photographs of several headstones. D.

I have been taking photos of the Martinsburg NY cemetery but have not located Olive Ashley. Could she be in another cemetery because I do not see her listed in the cemetery records? Thanks.

RE: Cowdrey Cemetery
I can do it, but it will probably have to wait until after July 4. I will be out of town starting Saturday for the week, but will be happy to do it when I get back.

RE: Nahum Parkhurst/Cowdrey Cemetery
Not too far. It's almost on my way home from work. Let me know if I can be of further help in the area.
