I was so glad to do this tiny mitzvah before Shabbos...not an observant Jew but old habits die hard :-). All the best to you and yours!

I looked for the other two Temares stones but could not find them this time. Carl

I am a relation of Barend van Vliet. I am wondering if I could contact you directly to ask your advice about research. Barend was the brother of my great grandmother -- Grieje / Katie -- mentioned by you in your record. Before he came to the US in 1872, Barend lived in London with my great grandfather, Michael van Dam. Grieje, Barend, Michael, and all the other van Vliet siblings grew up in Dordrecht near Rotterdam. Grieje and her father Solomon came directly to the US around 1870. My email is Paul.email@example.com. Thank you for what you do. My specific questions relate to the Synagogues the were members of in the 1890's in NYC.

I almost didn't get the photo. I had to tiptoe around a funeral that was going on right across the street. I just got the photo and got out! Glad to help. Enjoy!

Hi, I have submitted a couple of photos for your requests on the graves of the above people in Kinson, Dorset, but have not been able to upload a headstone transcription on their pages, so have put that on each photograph instead.

You're very welcome:)
Hi, I'm pretty sure the ones that are written in Hebrew are correct but I went by the grave references. If you can read the inscriptions perhaps you can confirm.
The other ones were easier to identify !
There is Hannah Firedlander buried next to Emil Friedlander, I am assuming that she was his wife. I posted a picture for her as well.

There is a Sam Griliches buried in another part of Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Was he Annie's husband?
