John Day and Nicholas Day
You have two different "Day" families mixed together. John Day b. 6 Sep 1716 is son of Nicholas Day b. 1645 in Maryland. They settled in Burke Co., NC. The other John Day birth date appox. 1730 was so of Henry Day Sr of Granville, NC.

ROBERT HOLDERBY
Hi,

Saw your memorial for Robert Holderby and wanted you to know that there is a more complete memorial for him #62162289. He returned to Missouri before he died. He was the son of James Monroe Holderby and his second wife Hannah (Bledsoe)McConnell. James Monroe Holderby and my great grandfather, Robert Smith Holderby (1832-1897), were brothers. So I would guess your Robert was named after his uncle.

Hi, Lois! I'm engaged to the great-grandson of Garlen Barringer. Do you happen to have other photos of any family members? They would love to see them. (We live in CA.)
Thanks So Much!

Bennett Ancestors
I was looking at some of my Bennett Ancestors and saw your memorial. We must be related somehow by them. Just wanted to say hello.

Nathaniel Gardner Butts Sr & Jr
You have combined two people. Nathaniel Gardner Butts Sr. was born in 1804 in Tennessee and died around 1844 in Overton County, Tennessee. The photo you have is of his youngest son, Nathaniel Gardner Butts Jr., born 20 Dec 1841 in Cumberland County, Tennessee and died 20 Oct 1924 in Ripon, San Joaquim County, California. The group photo (which I also have) shows (clockwise from top) Nathaniel Gardner Butts Jr., his grandnephew Noah Moses Butts, Noah's son John Austin Butts, and Noah's father John Henry Butts, Nat Jr.s' nephew and my great-grandfather.

Thanks.
