Family names are Howard (in Kentucky and Texas), Bridges and McClendon in South and North Carolina, Mississippi and Texas, and German Mennonites in Nebraska (Peters, Braun or Brown, DeFehr, Dick).

And on my husband's side: Murphy, Keleher, Sinnett, Doyle, Nash, Duffy (all from Ireland and mostly from Iowa).
