Researching PARKINSON, POWELL, FAY, GODING, THIELE, HENCKEN and SNOOK. States: CA, WI, OH, NE, KS, NY, NH, MI. Would love to hear from family members across the country! Let's help each other connect the dots.
SPECIAL REQUEST: Need archive photos of Parkinsons and relations of Sacramento (and area),Yolo County, and Alameda County areas circa 1880-1960's; news articles, obituaries, FOE (Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #9) photos, SP Railroad photos, etc. circa 1920's-1950.
Every person enriches the lives of others in their lifetime. Please stop by my family memorials and read their stories and leave flowers or a kind note.
Thank you to my friends, many of whom are newly-found cousins, here at Find-a-Grave who have given generously of their time and have shared their discoveries with me!

Here is a link to all the Powell memorials I manage. Nearly ALL of them I did not create or do photos on. I just manage them now.
If you wish I will transfer ALL of them to you. Related or maybe related to you, is better then me that is no relation at all. If some are related when you start searching them down that's a bonus. If they are not, then you can pass them on like I am to someone if they do a request to you.

You are welcome.........I really am not sure which ones you are referring to. LOL I have many of the Powell memorials but most of the photos, good or bad, I cannot take credit for....
Unless you mean Amy Hughes Powell . That one was a chore. If you mean her, then you are welcome and just the fact that someone in her tree even saw it, made that task worth the effort!
FYI If any of the Powell memorials are in your genealogy please send me their memorial numbers so I can transfer to them to you. None are related to me and no one takes care of family better then family.

Thank you for all the information on the early Parkinson family. My connection is with the Archibald line, through his daughter, Sara Melora (Find-A-Grave#27157292) who married Ferdinand Benham (#27151795) and settled in Courtland Township, Kent, Michigan. I do have a large group photo that includes Melora taken shortly before she died. The new stones laid where the old ones crumbled is a great idea.

I'm a Find A Grave member and was thrilled to discover your information about Elizabeth Sargent Parkinson and Peter Poor, her first husband. I am descended from Peter Poor; he is my fourth great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. My grandmother's maiden name was Poor.
I would like to add you as my friend and get to know you, since we are distant cousins and seem to share the desire to research our families. You can email me or use the message box, either way.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Whoops! I see now that Thomas Hawkins left the Parkinson family photo, not you. Sorry about that. But it is very nice to meet a relative here! :)
Thank you so very much for posting the Parkinson family photo. It means more than words can say to see my grandmother, Catherine's beautiful face again. I've never seen a photo of her so young. Absolutely amazing. Thank you!

|Barb Liggett||Hello cousin|
Lula May Parkinson was my grandmother.
We are connected to this line through Reuben who immigrated to Canada. I am also looking to connect with Carolyn or Ian Parkinson if you have any info on them.
