Henry Carder
Hi Stan,

I was able to find information for you about Henry's burial. I was able to take a photo of the plot Henry is buried in; which I marked with flowers. He does not have a headstone, but office maps confirmed his burial place in Block S-5 NW corner of section 2. I hope this helps.

Warm regards,
Diane

RE: Headstone photo
We are enclosing a link to an article that has some historical facts about the McGehee family in Alabama. The first part of the article talks about the man who Hope Hull, Alabama is named after but toward the middle it begins to talk about Abner McGehee and the influences that he had in this area. We are going to the McGehee Cemetery tomorrow and will post pictures soon. Will grew up in this area so if you have any questions please ask and we will try to answer them.

RE: Headstone photo
We took Jewel Evelyn McGehee headstone also and has been posted. We took all the McGehee's that were in that area and posted what was not already on the site. We understand that the Mcgehee family founded the town of Hope Hull Alabama. My husband, Will, is from that area and his grandfather was a friend of the Abner McGehee photo that you requested. There is a monument at the Hope Hull United Methodist Church, and there is a cemetery down that way called McGehee that we plan on going to soon.
As far as taking photos for others, we enjoy it. It closes chapters for many to know where there loved one is. It's peaceful and we have seen parts of Alabama that we might not have seen if we weren't doing it. If you have any questions drop us a line.
