I am a VETERINARIAN,SCIENTIST, ATHLETE and MUSICIAN. My interests are varied and diverse and among them is GENEALOGY and PERSONAL FAMILY HISTORY. I was born in MOBILE at the old BLESSED MARTIN De PORRES HOSPITAL located on WILKINSON STREET 1 block East
OF WASHINGTON AVENUE. (THE ORIGINAL BUILDING)I retired in 2009 and I became a veterinarian in 1969.In September of 1971 I opened the St. Stephens Animal Clinic for pet animal medical care thus becoming the first person of color to enter private practice on a full time basis in the state of Alabama.
I received a B.S. degree in CHEMISTRY& BIOLOGY in 1964, the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1969 and the B.S. In Animal Science in 1969. I taught public school and worked as a professional musician also.
