Bio

I am living in the south part of Rhineland-Palatinate, which is one of the 16 states of Germany (Europe). This area is called: Vorderpfalz. The French way of life "laissez faire" has also spread here over centuries (and many wars ). It Is a extreme beautiful piece of earth. Although I was not born there, it is now not only my ancestor's home (paternal gandma), but also mine! I love 'die Pfalz' with all my heart! // Because there are so many requests -- 1) in Germany you 'rent' a grave and give it back after a max. of 30 years (once or twice). Therefore it is not common that you can find in these days gravestones for the time before 1900. -- 2) Jewish graveyards are closed for public, you have to ask a jewish member of the regional organisation to be allowed to enter the cemetery. (My advice: send a message directly to the representative. I'm sure, they will find a way to help you.)
