I am a 30-year veteran of the family history hunt! I am currently working to become a certified professional genealogist. I am willing to take photos of graves and search for records in the Kansas City metro area! I speak and read fluent Spanish, and can do look-ups in records from Spanish-speaking countries, too.|
I recently qualified for membership into the D.A.R. and want to share with cousins on the Wells/Hall line, please leave me your contact info and I will send you my membership number!
I am trying to connect with descendants of John Burgess Wells and Josephine HALL's children as you can tag onto my membership to gain membership to DAR or SAR. I proved my lineage from John Samuel Wells to his mother Dialthia Balerma Josephine HALL to her father Thomas Douglas HALL to his father Thomas HALL (the Revolutionary patriot from Knox County, TN)!

In 1930 I found Max and Ora lived in Lowndes Co (Valdosta)and Anna who was about 70 lived with them. In 1940 Max and Ora lived in Quitman Brooks County and Anna was not listed in the household with them. I did not locate Anna at all. Are you sure she died in the 1950's? I searched the GA Death index and found two Elizabeth Collins that did pass in the 50's but....was her given name actually Anna Eliza Collins? I found two Anna Collins but they were AF/AM. I haven't been back to Oak Hill for awhile so I don't remember but when I started on that cem I had the disk camera and had to make many trips-so it is possible I missed some. I have to wait until the weekend but I will see if I can help- anymore info and you can email me at email@example.com. Talk to you soon, Cat

Thank you for writing to me! I am very much so interested and would like to ask you questions , in regard to not only DAR, but this particular family line, which I am been working on for some time. When you have time, please email me.
Thanks so much

Ralph Collins #118477227 in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
This is all the information that we have on this Ralph Collins. We are posting from the cemetery record book so whatever the book has, we post. The date of death is actually the "date of interment". The cemetery does not give us date of death. You night contact the Kansas State Historical Library and ask for an obituary. They have all the newspapers published in Kansas.
I see in your bio that you are researching Moore in Missouri. Also, Ruben Leonard Walker, Mt Salem Cemetery may be up for a transfer, fyi! The creator of his memorial is retiring.
Trying to locate who Anna Mae Walter(s) Walker, Leonards wife, who her parents may be. working that one :)
Schatzie Moore (Macon Co Moores)

Roger forwarded your request. I would love to get a copy of Grandsir's will. When we were in Macon County (twice) we failed to find it. We were unable to find either his or Cassandra's graves but we did find his father's grave. I have his death between 1860- 1868 as Cassandra was his widow when she died in 1868 & I found them in the 1860 census in Macon County. A lot of the information I have was from research my Grandmother & her aunts did.
We are related through his daughter Lucinda who married Canada Ownbey. (The line I've been working on for over a year now.) Who was Jesse Allen's parents? If it was Jesse I don't even have an estimated birth date for him. I don't have a lot on Grandsir's other children at the moment. That is my next project (just have info on my direct line). I would love to have anything you have on your lines from Grandsir and if you want Cassandras info I would love to share what I have.
