I am a 30-year veteran of the family history hunt! I am currently working to become a certified professional genealogist. I am willing to take photos of graves and search for records in the Kansas City metro area! I speak and read fluent Spanish, and can do look-ups in records from Spanish-speaking countries, too.I recently qualified for membership into the D.A.R. and want to share with cousins on the Wells/Hall line, please leave me your contact info and I will send you my membership number! I am trying to connect with descendants of John Burgess Wells and Josephine HALL's children as you can tag onto my membership to gain membership to DAR or SAR. I proved my lineage from John Samuel Wells to his mother Dialthia Balerma Josephine HALL to her father Thomas Douglas HALL to his father Thomas HALL (the Revolutionary patriot from Knox County, TN)! |David||Sheri Lakeman Grabast photo request|
I saw your photo request. Can you please tell me the location in the cemetery? The cemetery office will not disclose location except to a family member, and the size of the cemetery makes locating a grave site very difficult without at least knowing the section.
If it ever stops raining, I'll be glad to get the photo for you.

|Ruthann Hufnagle||RE: responding to your message|
Sara, Thanks for your response. I pray you were not offended by my referring you to our daughter, Helen. She is 51, I will be 70 soon and very soon! I also sent her your e-mail and forwarded to her the "find a grave" request, so hopefully the two of you can enjoy the family searching for many more years to come.
I know you sent some pictures years ago, but are you saying you found more recently? Would you be willing to e-mail those that are connected to our Hufnagle/Shering/Vanderslice families?
My husband is the son of John Edward Hufnagle
John E is the son of John Shering Hufnagle
John S is the son of John Augusta Hufagle
John A is the so of Daniel and Elizabeth
Hope that helps.
Ruthann Meyer Hufnagle

Sara, it is Wonderful to hear from you. Yes it has been a long time. I am still dabbling in our research of Hufnagle/Vanderslice names but am transitioning my research to our daughter, Helen. she has set up the following on Ancestry.
Hufnagle-Osterkamp Deep Roots Feb_2014
I did forward your Find A Grave message to her in hopes she will contact you in the future I so appreciate all the work you have done on the family search. The record we have for Augustus M Vandeslice shows him buried in Nebraska.
Her e-mail, however is email@example.com..I know she will be excited to work with you. She ad her husband are in the process of moving so I am not sure how soon she may contact you or respond to you. She is very detailed and consciencous.
Thanks again, Ruthann Meyer Hufnagle

Thank You, and yes, Eleanor was Frederick's last wife.

Hi Sarah-I actually forgot about this. I went back through my pictures and only have him for some reason. She died in lowndes County and I wondered if you will post her obit to the site you made for her. The reason why is sometimes when they do not specifically show the place of burial they may have been cremated. If it tells which funeral home took care of arrangements we can actually contact the funeral home, I feel sure if she had a stone at Oak Hill I would have photographed both. If we find out that she was for sure buried at Oak Hill I will go out and look again. Anyway how is the rest of your research going? Cat

Thank you for not resenting my correction. I always try to help in anyway I can. I am old and unable healthwise to do much, but I want to help keep records as nearly complete and correct as they can be for our history's sake. I have been resented before when I made a suggestion. I appreciate the fact that you did not resent it. I only want to help.
