I've been hooked on this genealogy habit since I retired in late 1999.
Becoming a contributor to FAG has reinvigorated me as I work to get each individual I research documented for the benefit of future generations. I have found the contributors here to be a great bunch of people.
The FAG editors have graciously transferred over six thousand memorials to my account from that of valued deceased contributor Superkentman. I will be updating these memorials with additional information gathered in my research and will post info received from others. I'll also gladly transfer any of these memorials for which I have no additional information or direct interest.
So far I have been able to cross reference over 23,000 individuals in my tree file to their memorials on Find A Grave.
RE: Almira Hull 1852-1900 Jon, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you fulfilling my request for the obit for Almira! I was disappointed that it didn't name her parents- the search continues. Thank you.
Special request for future memorial Hi Jon, You graciously posted the obit from the Sabbath Recorder for an ancestor of mine. I'm hoping you have access to the Recorder and could look up the obit of another of my ancestors, Almira Hull, wife of Joseph Hull. She died 13 Oct 1900 in Arkansas. I'm trying to verify her parentage and place of death. Thank you for considering my request.
