Bio Photo This is a good site to HONOR our loved ones who are no longer here with us until we are reunited.

"The past never leaves us. It is as present and as important as it ever was."

"Bent or Broken, It's A Family Tree...It's My Tree, and It's A Beautiful Tree! Each Branch A Part of A Part of Me...It's A Beautiful Tree!"

What Precious Reunions Await Us In Heaven!

"Quietly sleep beloved ones
Rest from thy toils, thy labor is done.
Rest till the trump from the opening skies
Bids thee from dust to Glory arise."

RE: Regarding Oscar J. Meyer
I added the gravestone photo to both of your memorials for them. This is the main reason I like Find a Grave. I have also had several members take photos and add them to my family members. It is a nice way to celebrate the people of our family and their lives. Im glad to help you in this way.

Regarding Oscar J. Meyer
I live in Oceanside and have been taking photos of graves at a Cemetery called Eternal Hills. I took a photo of your Oscar J. Meyer born 1907, died 1977. With him on the gravestone is his wife Mary, nickname "Billie", born 1917 and died 1989.
I don't know if this is your Oscar but it seems it could be. I made a memorial for him #160946192, and one for Mary, 160946219.
I also look up people on and since his name was so cool I looked him up and found the memorial you have made for him.
Check it out and I will delete the ones I made and you can add the burial location to yours. Let me know ok

Re: Marian Frances Lambert
Dear Donna,

Marian's obit was one of some 1200 newspaper obits I had on Find A Grave before they were removed as being inappropriate, so I can't really tell you what info I had on Marian that was removed. It could have been just a line or two or it could have been substantial. As you might imagine, I was pretty sore when they were removed, since it represented several hundred hours work on my part, but it's their site to do with as they want.

However, I've started my own genealogy site at

where I can put all the obits & photos I want for people to enjoy. I've only just started so only have maybe 700-800 obits, etc., so far, but there is a search box for people to use to find ancestors going back to the 1760s. I'll also have a blog, and am working on the first one as I write this.

They must mean only 3 marked in that row. J. Ellis is in the same plot across from Leonard and their is two unmarked graves. I will go back this week and get a plot photo for you to show how they are laid out.

Hey there, I went and got your photos today. In this plot marked graves are John Richard Ellis(Spouse of Amo Bloxton), Rosa Lee, Walter A. and Leonard. Looks as if there are two unmarked graves. Hope this helps. I added John Ellis if you would like a transfer just let me know. Enjoy!

Death Date
Donna- did you go to GeorgeAnn Brooksby's funeral?
Could you change the memorial to death date of 13 Jan 2016. She passed away just before midnight on the 13th and the Obituary had all ready been sent in for printing with the 14th date. How do you know George Ann?

Alba Etta Poole (Rountree)
Hi there -

I noticed you have a profile for my great great grandmother, Alba Etta Rountree. I have notes my mom took with a cousin in the Poole family that she was indeed buried in the Old Clovis Cemetery. I tried calling the cemetery and they have no record of her being there. Do you have any other info about Alba? She's somewhat of a mystery to me as I don't have a lot of info about her. Thanks!

Estelle Bloxton Eustace
Find A Grave Memorial# 29250858

Regarding your edit:
First Name:
Middle Name:
Aunt Tillie

will be declined.

Although her birth name is Mary Estelle Bloxton, she used the name Estelle after her marriage. She is found as Estelle on every census after her marriage except the 1920 census. Her obituary also lists her first name as Estelle and that is the name found engraved on her stone.

I have inserted a paragraph in the bio section regarding her name. In cases where an individual has only the middle name engraved on the stone it was a deliberate decision by the individual. I honor their wishes and that is the name found on their memorial page.

This issue has also been discussed extensively in the forum and the consensus was to use the name as found on the stone.
