This is a good site to HONOR our loved ones who are no longer here with us until we are reunited.|

Rest from thy toils, thy labor is done.
Rest till the trump from the opening skies
Bids thee from dust to Glory arise."

|CLPrickett||Picture on Max Powell's find a grave|
Donna, I am trying to upgrade Dad's (Max Powell) find a grave information and would like to add a picture of him not long before he died. So would you mind removing the picture that you put on of Marie, Mom, Dad and myself so that I can add another one. I want the one of their wedding picture to stay but if you could remove the other one that would be great.
|Sharon Olson||Sanford history|
Hello, I am a Sanford descendant of Don Alonzo's uncle Peter Sanford. I'd love to connect with you if you'd like to share any family history.

Wilhelm Prochnow #107359601 (my great-grandfather)
Ernestine Prochnow #107456736 (gr great-grandmother)
Johann Pergande #107452871 (gr great-grandfather)
Johanne Pergande #107452960 (gr great-grandmother)
Walter John Wolske #128080689 (grandfather)
Erna Clausing #64101873 (favorite aunt)
Edwin Clausing #64102010 (favorite uncle)
I do have some additions/corrections to add.

|Sandra Wamsley||RE: Dorothy Van Driest Lansberry|
Hi again, Neat that you knew Dorothy's children! Auto-add is under Edit tab, where a contributor can put in the numbers for the parents and spouse. It's changed and got the impression FindaGrave hangs on to it a couple of days before actually inserting it or depending on the owner of the memorial to add them in. Maybe I don't understand it either and am glad you connected them. Wish I had more photos of this family, but I don't. Gaylord, Dorothy's brother, was cremated when he died and was a rancher so am guessing his ashes are out at the ranch at Shepherd. Also guess I could put up a memorial with no place of interment shown and link him to his parents. Then the family would be altogether. Only have obits for them and usually don't post them either.
Lena's brother or uncle, don't have my gen. program open just now to check, name of Ival Carmichael, lived in Wyoming for a time. Guess he came to visit long before I came out to this country to get acquainted with his cousins here. My husband talked every so often about going up to see them in Montana, but never got "roundtuit."
|Sandra Wamsley||Dorothy Van Driest Lansberry|
Hi Donna, Have posted an auto-add and links for Dorothy's parents in Montana. What a lovely memorial this is and such a pretty girl! Dorothy was related to my husband through her mother Lena Carmichael Van Driest. Lena's paternal grandmother was a Wamsley and my husband's g-aunt! There is a family resemblance among the Wamsleys and do see it in Dorothy as well. It all surely makes things interesting, doesn't it? :-) Sandra W in CO
|L. Glen Harvey||Bloxton|
I see by your listing on Find A Grave that you do not know where Walter Augustus Bloxton and his wife are buried.
They, along with their son, Leonard, are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Roanoke, Virginia. I was by there yesterday and there is one large monument with the name BLOXTON and there are three grave markers with the following information:
Walter A. Bloxton
Apr. 8, 1869
Mar. 20, 1929
Rosa Lee Bloxton
July 27, 1868
May 2, 1942
Loenard B. Bloxton
Died Sept. 25, 1932
He Will Be Our Guide
Even Unto Death
Fairview Cemetery marks the location differently from most other cemeteries I have seen. They are in Division 7, Section 33 and these three are the only marked graves in the section. Each grave would have a Space number but I did not get that information.
Hope this helps.

|Stabler Family est. 1998||RE: James Clifford|
The email address you sent this message to is old and rarely used by me. Yes, I am related by marriage to the Stabler's. I am currently going through a very bitter divorce, unfortunately I am not on friendly terms at this time with them.
To answer the question...yes that is the correct Stabler family. Hallie May Briscoe was the mother, and she married James Clifford Stabler (b. 1906- d. 1951), Hallie remarried someone with the last name of Fetterly, she passed away in 1995. There are actually 4 Stabler sons:
Jack Carr Stabler, Living in Idaho Falls, ID
William Burton Stabler, Living in Las Vegas, NV
James Davis Stabler, deceased
Myron Kent Stabler, Living in Hurricane, UT
You can get in touch with Bill via Facebook here :
I hope this helps, enjoy your reunion!
