|Tami||RE: Linda DOERING Ottmar|
You are SOOO welcome! I will take a better picture when the weather clears. But wanted to get the pictures out soon. Nancy and I are working together to photograph the cemetery, so if there are any other family members you would like us to photograph, please let me know.
I was raised in Kennewick!!!! My folks moved to Edmonds when my dad was transferred in 1976 so I never did get to go back "home", since I was at college. I am now trying to help others in the Edmonds area (but still miss my friends in Kennewick, since I never did get to go back home). It was never quite the same with not going back home. But I love helping folks in the TC and here!
Cheers from Edmonds, WA!

I was photographing graves at Restlawn and just wanted to let you know I added a picture to the memorial for your Linda Ottmar. #111615655.
The cemetery has not been trimmed lately, and I had to trim the grass away from the marker quite a bit, and didn't trim all of it, but enough to see the dates. I am hoping to retake some pics after the cemetery crew trims the markers!
Cheers form Edmonds!

I am a descendant of Henry Gollinger of Munising, Michigan. You posted his obituary and a photo of the Confectionery Store he owned. I was wondering where you took the photo as I'd like to contact whomever owns the photo to see if a print can be made of it.
Thank you for taking the time to complete his profile so nicely ; )

Donna, I am trying to upgrade Dad's (Max Powell) find a grave information and would like to add a picture of him not long before he died. So would you mind removing the picture that you put on of Marie, Mom, Dad and myself so that I can add another one. I want the one of their wedding picture to stay but if you could remove the other one that would be great.

Once more, Donna, looks like you have them covered, thanks! Brought my db up to date so think we're good. Sandra
|Sandra Wamsley||RE: Dorothy Van Driest Lansberry|
Hi again, Neat that you knew Dorothy's children! Auto-add is under Edit tab, where a contributor can put in the numbers for the parents and spouse. It's changed and got the impression FindaGrave hangs on to it a couple of days before actually inserting it or depending on the owner of the memorial to add them in. Maybe I don't understand it either and am glad you connected them. Wish I had more photos of this family, but I don't. Gaylord, Dorothy's brother, was cremated when he died and was a rancher so am guessing his ashes are out at the ranch at Shepherd. Also guess I could put up a memorial with no place of interment shown and link him to his parents. Then the family would be altogether. Only have obits for them and usually don't post them either.
Lena's brother or uncle, don't have my gen. program open just now to check, name of Ival Carmichael, lived in Wyoming for a time. Guess he came to visit long before I came out to this country to get acquainted with his cousins here. My husband talked every so often about going up to see them in Montana, but never got "roundtuit."
|Sandra Wamsley||Dorothy Van Driest Lansberry|
Hi Donna, Have posted an auto-add and links for Dorothy's parents in Montana. What a lovely memorial this is and such a pretty girl! Dorothy was related to my husband through her mother Lena Carmichael Van Driest. Lena's paternal grandmother was a Wamsley and my husband's g-aunt! There is a family resemblance among the Wamsleys and do see it in Dorothy as well. It all surely makes things interesting, doesn't it? :-) Sandra W in CO
